Verso antiorario, quota min/max 150/800
L'itinerario, dopo essere passato per la collina di Castelmonte, percorre per 18 km il corso del torrente Iudrio che segna il confine tra Italia e Slovenia fino a ridosso del Passo Solarie da dove ha origine. La strada sale dolcemente fino al wpt L, poi un po' alla volta le pendenze si accentuano con tratti molto duri fino ai due tornanti in prossimità di Clabuzzaro (Sent. Nat. P.te Clinaz Clabuzzaro).
(Poco dopo il paesino chi vuole può salire al Rif. Solarie aggiungendo 150m di dislivello.)
Si scende su asfalto fino a Clodig. Poco dopo si abbandona la principale e si sale a destra per Grimacco dove raggiungiamo con alcuni strappi q.525m. La forestale ora scende, dominando la vallata del Fiume Cosizza, fino a q.360, poi si risale fino a q.460 per poi ridiscendere ancora fino a Clastra a q.400 e successivamente su asfalto fino alla strada principale a q. 160.
Rimane un'altra salita di circa 170m, per evitare le strade principali, che aggira il Monte Purgessimo e ci riporta al paesino di partenza (chi vuole può evitare quest'ultima fatica seguendo le indicazione stradali).

The route, after passing through the hill Castelmonte, runs for 18 km Iudrio the course of the river that marks the border between Italy and Slovenia until near the Step by Solarie where it originated. The road climbs gently up to wpt L, then a bit 'at a time gradients are accentuated with sometimes very hard up to two bends in the vicinity of Clabuzzaro (Sent. Nat. P.te Clinaz Clabuzzaro).

Descend on asphalt until Clodig. Shortly after you leave the main building and up to the right where we reach Grimacco with some tears q.525m. The forest is now falling, dominating the valley of the River Cosizza until q.360, then climb up to q.460 and then down again until Clastra to q.400 and then on to the asphalt road leading to q. 160
remains another climb of about 170m, to avoid the main roads, which bypasses the Monte Purgessimo and brings us back to the village of origin (who may want to avoid this difficulty by following the driving directions).
