Partenza da Vipava. Si procede su ciclabile parallela alla strada. Poco dopo si svolta sulla destra per Vrhpolje. Prima di arrivare in paese sulla destra si vede un cartello con indicazioni m.te Nanos. Si percorre in salita una strada sterrata dal fondo ben battuto ma con pendenze a tratti abbastanza faticose. Ad un certo punto la carrareccia termina e sbuca sulla strada asfaltata che sale da Sanabor. Si proseguire in salita sulla destra su fondo asfaltato. Tratto piacevole nel bosco con traffico veicolare quasi assente (qualche trattore). In prossimità di una curva c'è un'area di sosta con catello-legenda. Si prende in discesa il sentiero sulla sinistra (spalle volte al cartello). Bellissimo single track immerso nel bosco che porta riporta fino al paese di Vipava. Difficoltà S1/S2, fondo sassoso (tipo carso).

Departure from Vipava. We proceed on the path parallel to the road. Shortly after you turn to the right to Vrhpolje. Before arriving in the country on the right you see a sign with directions Mt Nanos. Area go up a dirt road from the bottom of well-wrought but with gradients sometimes quite tiring. At one point the track ends and comes out on the paved road that climbs from Sanabor. We continue uphill to the right on asphalt. Taken pleasant in the woods with almost no vehicular traffic (some tractor). When approaching a curve there is a rest area with catello-legend. He takes down the path on the left (backs to the sign). Beautiful single track in the woods that leads back to the village of Vipava. Difficulty S1 / S2, stony bottom (karst type).
