Sulla SS55 che da Gorizia porta a Monfalcone, in località Devetachi,presso la trattoria da Milio si trova il punto di partenza.
L'itinerario parte subito in salita su una comoda mulattiera che in circa 2 km vi porterà oltre confine, per poi arrivare al paese di Lokvica,e in un comodo sterrato raggiungere prima il monumento ai difensori della patria Slovena, (breve deviazione di 335 m) che merita una visita solo per lo splendido panorama sulla pianura sottostante. Il giro prosegue poi sempre su comodo sterrato sino al monte Trstelj,per poi scendere in un breve singletrack dalla cima e raggiungere il paese di Lipa.Da qui in strada asfaltata,ma mai troppo trafficata si attraversano i paesi di Temnica, Novelo e Kostanjevica,per poi intraprendere gli ultimi sterrati che vi porteranno sino al paese di Opatje selo e da qui una scorrevole mulattiera vi riporterà in territorio italiano per poi raggiungere il punto di partenza.

On the SS55 which leads to Gorizia Monfalcone, in the locality Devetachi at the trattoria from Milio is the starting point.
The route starts immediately uphill on an easy trail that will take you in about 2 km across the border to then reach the village of Lokvica, and in a convenient dirt road before reaching the monument to the defenders of the homeland of Slovenia, (short detour of 335 m) which is worth a visit just for the splendid panorama of the plains below. The tour then continues on always convenient dirt road up the mountain Trstelj, then dropped in a short singletrack from the top and reach the village of Lipa.Da here in the paved road, but never too busy crossing the countries of Temnica, Novelo and Kostanjevica and then take the last dirt roads that will take you up to the village of Selo Opatje and hence a smooth trail will take you back in Italian territory before reaching the starting point.
