Trail Description

Ulteriori informazioni a.

More information.
The route tackles the complete turn around the mountain Gaisberg, the top above the Brixen Valley between the towns of Kirchberg and Brixen. Not excessively high (reaches 1770m.) And entirely covered with meadows and forests, it is still a favorite with bikers in the area.
From the small village of Brixen take the path of the valley, then on to Winkl and thus beginning the climb that characterize this tour: After a first part to medium slopes along the creek Brixenbach, the easy dirt road climbs in switchbacks on the western slopes of the Gaisberg, occasionally offering sweeping views of the valley below.
< br> Reached - after about seven kilometers - the hut Wiegalm, the tough ascent has finally end and a scenic trail allows you to enjoy a splendid view of all the Kitzbühel Alps.
The descent initially very fast on large and compact mule, then joins in the fun Harlassangher Trail (also known as Wiegalm Trail), one of the many trails in the area created specifically for mountain biking. The single track runs smooth and fast alternating twists and turns in the woods at times cycled through the meadows; despite the gradients are often prominent, the major technical difficulties are limited to certain short passages between the roots.
The beat, and the second part also has a stretch of dirt road ends at the bottom of the valley near the Spertental Reiserer: hence the comfortable paths of Kirchberg and Brixental guarantee a pleasant and peaceful return to the starting point.
Starting point: Brixen im Thale, Dorfstraße.
