NOTA 1) questo giro è stato studiato nell’intento di evitare i classici problemi che si verificano percorrendo le tracce delle varie gran fondo tenute sul Montello gli scorsi anni:
ho quindi aggirato varie proprietà private (alcune chiuse da alti cancelli) ed eliminato passaggi campestri che potrebbero essere non graditi; anche l’incontro con cani è ridotto al minimo !
Ne è comunque risultato un giro assai vario sia tecnicamente (si alternano i single track con gli ampi sterrati) che panoramicamente.
NOTA 2) La stagione ideale è la primavera (ma anche l’autunno), purché con fondo asciutto, mentre nei periodi fangosi è meglio evitare alcuni tratti, peraltro facilmente sostituibili con prese a fondo compatto, ben indicate nelle mappe.
DESCRIZIONE:
Da Bavaria si sale dolcemente al bivio della Madonnina del Bosco e quindi per la Presa 3 (via Sacco). Per bei sentieri altalenanti, si attraversa la Presa 2 e si perviene ad un parcheggio nei pressi del monumento a F. Baracca. Attraversata la Dorsale, si scende sul versante nord fino ad incontrare la Panoramica che si affaccia sul Piave. La si percorre in discesa fino ad incontrare uno sterrato che scende al fiume; dopo un breve tratto su pista golenale, si risale alla Panoramica in corrispondenza all’antica trattoria “Da Mario” dove ci può rifocillare. Si riparte sull’argine erboso del Canale della Vittoria, poi attraversata la Panoramica, si riprende a salire; nei pressi di Prato Fiorito si gode di un’ampia vista sulle colline Trevigiane; poi ci si immerge nel bosco tra sentieri e piste forestali, finché ci si immette sulla Presa 10 e su questa si attraversa la Dorsale proseguendo in dir. sud; poco dopo, svoltato a sx, inizia una serie di saliscendi che tagliano varie prese e sfruttano in gran parte la notissima pista detta “La Militare”. Dopo un ultimo sentierino che ci porta nella “Busa delle rane”, si sbuca nella Presa 3 poco sopra la Madonnina del Bosco, da cui resta un veloce rientro in discesa fino a Bavaria
Partendo da Mestre si può prendere l’A27 ed uscire a TV Nord. Poi si passa per Spresiano e prima di Ponte della Priula si svolta sx con ind. NERVESA della Battaglia. Dal semaforo di Nervesa si prosegue per circa 3 km in dir. Volpago-Montebelluna e si trova una rotatoria e, sulla dx via Genio Zappatori da cui si accede ad un gran parcheggio; all’incrocio lato est, c’è la trattoria- bar Montello; trovate anche una fontana e sul lato ovest della piazzetta una gelateria.

NOTA 1) This tour has been designed in order to avoid the classic problems that occur along the tracks of several large fund held on Montello previous years:
so I bypassed several private properties (some closed by high gates) and eliminated Rustic steps that might be unwelcome; also the encounter with dogs is minimized!
It is, however, result in a very varied tour is technically (alternate single track with the wide dirt roads) that scenically.
NOTE 2) The ideal season is spring (but also the autumn), provided with a dry, while in periods muddy it is better to avoid some places, however, can easily be replaced with sockets at the bottom of compact, well indicated in the maps.
DESCRIPTION:
From Bavaria is gently rising at the junction of the Madonna del Bosco and then for 3 socket (via Sacco). For beautiful trails erratic, cross the socket 2 and goes on to a car park near the monument to F. Baracca. Across the Ridge, descend on the north side until you see the Overview overlooking the Piave. The road downhill until you come to a dirt road leading down to the river; after a short stretch of track floodplain, it goes back to the overview at the old-fashioned trattoria "Da Mario" where we can take refreshment. It starts grassy embankment of the Canal della Vittoria, then crossed the overview, it starts to climb; near Prato Fiorito, enjoy a wide view over the hills of Treviso; then you are immersed in the woods between paths and forest tracks, until you get on the socket 10, and on this one crosses the Dorsal continuing dir. south; shortly after, turned to the left, begins a series of ups and downs that cut various outlets and exploit mostly the well-known track called "The Force." After a final path that takes us into the "Busa frogs", you will come out in socket 3 just above the Madonnina del Bosco, which is a fast downhill to return to Bavaria
From Mestre you can take the A27 and TV Nord exit. Then you need to Spresiano and before the bridge, turn left Priula with ind. NERVESA della Battaglia. From the traffic light Nervesa continue for about 3 km in dir. Volpago-Montebelluna and there is a roundabout, and on the right path Engineers Sappers which leads to a large parking lot; the east side of the intersection, there is a bar trattoria- Montello; also found a fountain and on the west side of the square ice cream parlor.
