Questa è l’ennesima folle variante dell’anello “Il Gigante che dorme”al quale puntualmente si rimanda per la descrizione. Fino alla Fonte Chiavatteri il giro resta immutato ma da qui in poi, anziché scendere a Cerchiara abbiamo deciso di affrontare la Vena Pecorale ovvero il sentiero 209 C.A.I….un’autentica avventura nel vero senso della parola!!! Per compiere 200m di dislivello sarete costretti ad uno sforzo non indifferente tra stretti passaggi sul torrente, cunicoli aperti tra i rovi e un ascensore finale nel quale dovrete utilizzare la bici come piccozza. Pertanto no so fino a che punto conviene scegliere questa via che il Cinghiale ha deciso di percorrere solo per mero desiderio di scoperta. Una volta giunti a Peschio della Fonte la traccia 103 C.A.I. vi porta tramite fondo scassatissimo a Forca di Valle, Da Forca si prende per Cerchiara e si prosegue come da traccia gps.

This is yet another crazy variant of the Ring "The Sleeping Giant" which is regularly referred to for details. Until the source Chiavatteri the tour remains unchanged but from here on, instead of going down to Cerchiara we decided to tackle the Vena Pecorale or the path CAI 209 ... .un'autentica adventure in the true sense of the word !!! To accomplish 200m in altitude will be forced to a considerable effort between narrow passages on the river, underground passages open through the brambles and a final lift in which you use the bike as ax. Therefore not know to what extent should choose this path that the boar has decided to go just for the mere desire for discovery. Once in Peschio Source track 103 CAI takes you through the bottom scassatissimo Fork Valley, Da Forca takes to Cerchiara and continue as gps track.
