Nota: la partenza in quota rende alla portata di quasi tutti, questa stupenda cavalcata tra le valli del T. Cosizza e del T. Alberone; un inedito passaggio su sentiero tra le minuscole frazioni di Brizza e Chiabai permette di chiudere l’anello in quota.
DESCRIZIONE
Da Clastra si risale, con breve strappo iniziale, le pendici del M. San Bartolomeo, entrando nella valle del Cosizza; dopo uno scollinamento si scende ripidi al wp Prehod q. 455 dove potremo ammirare, poco più in alto, un pregevole ed antico rustico. Ancora discesa fino al wp C dove si raggiunge la quota minima (q.360). Ora si risale per la forestale con un ottimo fondo ed una notevole panoramica sulla valle, per alcuni km; poi progressivamente la strada si inerpica e prima dello scollinamento (wp D 530) potrà appiedarci per un centinaio di m; da qui si scende a Grimacco Sup. e poco dopo nel wp F si riprende a salire. Si attraversano i paesini di Plataz e Canalaz, quindi sempre in costante salita si guadagna la q. max alla f.lla San Martino (q. 665). Dopo l’immancabile sosta si scende sul versante nord (valle del T. Rieca) e dopo un tornante, a q. 595, si lascia l’asfalto per una bella forestale che scende dolcemente verso la valle del T. Alberone. La forestale termina all’innesto con la strada che collega Brizza di sotto con Brizza di sopra; qui si svolta a sx, in salita e presto la strada termina a Brizza di sopra (q. 430). Si prosegue su sentiero, prima in discesa e poi in salita con scollinamento a q. 460, seguito da ripida discesa (questo sentiero è poco ciclabile anche per la presenza di ramaglie, solchi e tratti potenzialmente fangosi).
Presso un manufatto per l’acquedotto si ritrova la strada (Chiabai - q. 390). Ancora una ventina di m di dislivello in salita ed altrettanti in discesa su un bella stradina panoramica e si chiude l’anello nel paese di Clastra da cui siamo partiti.
Prendendo l’A4 e poi l’A23 per UDINE, si esce ad Udine Sud. Si seguono ind. per Cividale e qui giunti per Valli del Natisone. A ponte San Quirino si svolta a dx per San Leonardo e dopo 1,5 Km, ad un successivo bivio, ancora a dx; si passa per Cemur e poco dopo, anziché proseguire per Scrutto, si prende a sx una strada in salita con ind. Clastra 3 Km . Ivi giunti, si parcheggia nei pressi del rinomato agriturismo “Il Melo Innamorato”.

Note: The starting altitude makes it affordable for almost everyone, this beautiful ride through the valleys of Cosizza T. and T. Alberone; an unprecedented step on the path between the tiny villages of Brizza Chiabai and allows you to close the loop in quota.
DESCRIPTION
From Clastra climb, with short initial tear, the slopes of Monte San Bartolomeo, entering the valley the Cosizza; after a steep brow comes down to wp Prehod q. 455 where we will see, a little higher up, a valuable antique and rustic. Even down to the wp C where it reaches the minimum (q.360). Now we go back to the forest with a great background and a remarkable panoramic view of the valley for a few miles; then the road climbs gradually and before the brow (wp D 530) will appiedarci for a hundred m; from here down to Grimacco Sup., and shortly after in the wp F starts to climb. You pass through the villages of Plataz Canalaz and then always in constant uphill earns q. max at Forcella San Martino (q. 665). After the inevitable break it down on the north side (downstream of T. Rieca) and after a bend in q. 595, you leave the asphalt for a beautiful forest that slopes gently down to the valley of T. Alberone. The forest ends the junction with the road that connects Brizza below with Brizza above; here you turn left, uphill and soon the road ends at Brizza above (q. 430). Continue on the path, first downhill and then uphill with a brow q. 460, followed by a steep descent (this little cycle path is also due to the presence of twigs, potentially muddy ruts and stretches.) Woman At an artifact for the aqueduct finds the road (Chiabai - q. 390). Still a score of m difference in height and the same down on a beautiful panoramic road and closes the loop in the country of Clastra where we started.
Taking the A4 and then the A23 to Udine , exit at Udine Sud. follow ind. Cividale and come here to Natisone Valleys. A San Quirino bridge turn right to San Leonardo and after 1.5 km, at the next junction, turn right again; you go to Cemur and shortly after, rather than continuing to Scrutto, take a left uphill road with ind. Clastra 3 Km. Once there, you park near the famous "Il Melo in Love."
