Il Monte Careschio, sovrastante l'abitato di Visso, è un eccezionale balcone posto sulla Valle dell'Ussita e sulla Val Nerina dominato dall'imponente massiccio del Monte Bove. Partendo da Visso e costeggiando il torrente Ussita, si arriva alla frazione di Sasso da dove inizia la salita asfaltata per il Valico Arette. Ai 1100 metri del valico si lascia la strada asfaltata e si continua a salire, dapprima su sterrata e poi per prati seguendo la massima pendenza, fino alla vetta del monte a 1366 metri. Da ora in avanti è solo discesa fino a Visso, inizialmente per panoramici pascoli prativi e poi per un favoloso single-track che termina fin quasi dentro la piazza dei Martiri Vissani con doverosa deviazione all'antica Torre di guardia.

The Monte Careschio, overlooking the town of Visso, is an exceptional place on the balcony dell'Ussita Valley and the Val Nerina dominated by the massif of Monte Bove. Starting from Visso Ussita and along the river, we reach the village of Sasso from where the first road to the pass Arette. 1100 meters of the crossing you leave the paved road and continue to climb, first on a dirt road and then over meadows along the maximum slope up to the summit of the mountain of 1366 meters. From now on, it's just down to Visso, initially for scenic grassy pastures and then to a fabulous single-track that ends almost in the Martyrs' Square Visscher with dutiful deviation ancient watchtower.
