Da Dronero salire al colle di valmala passando per roccabruna e castello. Dal colle scendere sulla strada dei cannoni e salire al colle della ciabra. Da li,a sinistra, inizia un sentiero da prima poco visibile e che poi finisce in un greto di torrente, in estate asciutto. Seguire il greto fino alla chiesetta. Fiancheggiare la chiesetta a sinistra e prendere i numerosi tagli della strada fino a cartignano.
