Trail Description

Buon divertimento

Departure from Giais. We cycle towards Montereale. Before entering the village turn left. Begins the ascent (the alpine road). Gravel with short but challenging climb. In downhill you come to a junction where you turn right and follow the main road to the mountain light. You cycle on paved road. When you reach the observatory (viewpoint) starts the dirt road. At a junction (ramp cemented) keep left (stable) It always goes on unpaved road with a good background beat. On the last curve you see the sign with directions to C.ra Montelonga. He continues to ride on the road soon becomes a path (cai 988). After a little walk undergrowth pedaling again until you get to cross a trail that goes in sideways along the eastern side of the Pala D'Altei. Some stretches are paths. In the vicinity of the Casera Rupeit (ruins) the slope increases again and proceed on foot. Henceforth the path (988) which leads to C.ra Giais is exposed and hardly pedaled if not in some short points. Arriving at C.ra Giais (open with 6 beds), take the path that goes down to 986 the foothills. Single track along with technical sections and beautiful (stones) that ends up on the dirt road that climbs from Glera. From here you will soon reach the point of departure.
