La lunga salita che parte da Valle San Silvestro (Dobbiaco) e porta al Cornetto di Confine (Markinkele) è tra le più suggestive e panoramiche dell’Alto Adige. Sul filo del confine austriaco si percorre un impegnativo single track che permette di guadagnare la vetta del Pfannhorn e di rimanere sbalorditi dinanzi alla vista a trecentosessanta gradi sulle Vedrette di Ries-Aurina, sui monti di Casies e del Defereggen. Voltando lo sguardo, le Dolomiti di Braies, di Sesto e di Lienz…il tutto pedalando a quota 2500 lungo l’Alta Via di Dobbiaco. La discesa si snoda su piacevole single track fino al Dosso Gallina per poi avventurarsi nella fitta boscaglia per un veloce sentiero che riporta a valle.

The long climb that starts from Valle San Silvestro (Dobbiaco) and leads to Cornetto di Confine (Markinkele) is among the most beautiful and scenic South Tyrol. On the wire to the Austrian border along a challenging single track that allows you to gain the summit of Pfannhorn and be amazed at the sight in front of three hundred and sixty degrees on Rieserfern-Ahr, the mountains of Casies and Defereggen. Turning his gaze, the Prags Dolomites, Sexten and Lienz ... all pedaling at an altitude of 2500 along the Alta Via di Dobbiaco. The downhill runs of nice single track until Dosso Hen and then venture into the dense thicket for a quick path back to the valley.
