dal traffico della periferia genovese ai "villaggi fantasma" del Monte Bano e ritorno,
Molassana-Capenardo-Passo del Fuoco-Noci-Campegnuso-Bromia-Sella di Cravasco-Trensasco-M.Pinasco-Molassana.
48 km e 1800d+
Purtoppo fino a Capenardo si sale su asfalto, ma dal bivio di Ponte Cavassolo in poi la strada è poco trafficata e dal bivio successivo è anche in bell'ambiente, con bella visuale sulle pendici del monte Alpesisa, da Capenardo al passo del Fuoco e fino all'inizio del sentiero sopra Noci si continua su una sterrata molto bella e panoramica
.
Dal tornante sopra noci (lapide partigiano) si sale su mulattiera per un tratto a spinta* fino allo scollinamento, subito dopo si incontra il bivio su sentero per Camponevoso (o Campoveneroso o Campegnuso, borgata abbandonata, una delle tante di queste montagne)
, il sentiero si snoda sul fianco della montagna ed è scorrevole, passati i ruderi un tratto in leggera salita tecnica porta all'ultimo scollinamento sul fianco del Monte Acuto: qui inizia la discesa sull'antica mulattiera che in dialetto viene chiamata "scianca muli".
il nome è antico ... non è dato dai biker, ma dagli abitanti delle borgate del Monte Bano sopra montoggio: me ne avevano parlato degli anziani di Paravagna un paio di anni fa e siamo andati a scoprirla anche dopo averne letto la descrizione sul sito
è un sentiero molto bello ti catapulta in un altra dimensione temporale, quella dei borghi disabitati del Monte Bano...
in più la discesa oppone ogni difficoltà che compete ad una mulattiera antica su di un versante abbastanza impervio e selvaggio: sempre in single track ai tratti scorrevoli si abbinano gradoni di ogni foggia, strettoie, tratti ripidi o esposti, tornanti su pietra mossa e fissa, tratti devastati, radici (S2)...fino ad arrivare al fondo valle (laghetto con cascata) prima di imboccare il sentiero che porta in paese a Montoggio (rovi permettendo, in alternativa a destra si raggiuge brevemente la statale).
insomma non fa proprio per chi nei sentieri cerca solo il flow!!! oltre a buone braccia è sicuramente consigliata una bici robusta e full da AM, putroppo l'ho spesso trovato un pò invaso di foglie ramaglie e in alcuni tratti spine, nel complesso trovo che sia una delle discese più belle ed impegnative del genovesato, se venisse mantenuta regolarmente sarebbe da 5stelle!!!
per il rientro abbiamo scelto un percorso collaudato: da Montoggio si sale verso Creto fino al bivio Cravasco-Sella e di qui in single track (a tratti difficile ed esposto, S2-S3 con un brevissimo "muro" da S4) fino alla sterrata che porta a Trensasco, da Trensasco siamo scesi a S.Gottardo per il bellissimo sentiero di Monte Pinasco (evidenti segnavia Biancorossi, salire un breve tratto a spinta a sinistra, discesa "flow" difficoltà S1), fino all'acquedotto storico...degna fine del giro!!!
mi è tornata la voglia di bazzicare in zona... a presto Monte Bano

Unfortunately Capenardo until you climb out of asphalt, but from the junction of Bridge Cavassolo on the road is not very busy and the next junction is also in beautiful surroundings, with beautiful view of the slopes of Mount Alpesisa, by Capenardo abreast of Fire and until the beginning of the path above Nuts continue on a dirt road very beautiful and scenic

Since bend over nuts (tombstone partisan) climb on trail for a while to boost up * the brow, just after you reach the junction of sentero for Camponevoso (or Campoveneroso or Campegnuso, abandoned village, one of many of these mountains)
, the trail runs along the eastern side of the mountain and is sliding past the ruins of a sudden uphill technique leads to the last brow on the side of Monte Acuto: here begins the descent on the ancient trail that dialect is called "Scianca mules."
the name is not given by the ancient ... biker, but by the inhabitants of the villages of Monte Bano above Montoggio: I had spoken of the elderly to Paravagna a couple of years ago and went on to discover it even after reading the description on the website
is a very nice trail puts you in another time dimension, that of the deserted villages of Monte Bano ...
in more descent opposed every difficulty lies with an ancient mule track on a fairly steep slope and wild: always in single track sections to match sliding steps of every shape, narrow, steep or exposed switchbacks on the stone moved and fixed-torn sections, roots (S2) ... until you get to the bottom of the valley (pond with waterfall) before you take the path that leads to the village to Montoggio (brambles permitting, as an alternative to the right raggiuge briefly the state).
short is not for those who only look in the paths of the flow !!! in addition to good arms is definitely recommended a robust and full bike from AM, unfortunately I have often found it a bit overgrown leaves and branches in some parts spines, on the whole I find it one of the most beautiful and challenging descents of the Genoese, if it were would be maintained regularly by 5stars !!! statistics for return we chose a proven path: from Montoggio up towards Creto to the junction Cravasco-Sella and here in single track (at times difficult and exposed, S2-S3 with a very short "wall" from S4) to the dirt road that leads to Trensasco from Trensasco we went down to S.Gottardo for the beautiful trail of Monte Pinasco (clear red and white trail, climb a short push on the left, downhill "flow" difficulties S1 ), up to the aqueduct historic ... worthy end of the tour !!!
I came back the urge to hang out in the area ... soon Monte Bano
