bellissimo giro sulle colline maremmane. partenza dalla ciclabile che collega Grosseto a Roselle. Dopo circa 10 km di asfalto che porta a circa 180 mt. di dislivello. dopo batignano svoltare a sx per iniziare il tratto stterrato che porta a sino a 300 mt. circa. sucessivamente si percorrerà un single track in salita che richiede attenzioni per i massi e il fondo davvero impervio. si arriva ad una piccola piazzola che di solito serve a prendere fiato e un sorso d'acqua. da questo punto si sale ancora in single track con il primo tratto fatto di rocce e il sucessivo in fondo ghiaioso. si arriva ad una piazzola, prendere a sx e scendere per almeno 40 mt. di quota per poi incominciare un tratto in salita su fondo di ghiaia passando a fianco di un capanno di cacciatori e salire in unica soluzione sino a 500 mt. di quota, giunti al termine della salia vi troverete la preziosa "fontana del dottore" che richiederà una sosta obbligatoria per rifocillarsi con acqua freschissima. continuare il sentiero per 200 mt. circa e prendere a dx. si sffronterà un single track in salita che in poche centinaia di metri vi porterà a quota 600 mt., da notare il panorama alle vostre spalle.... eccezionale. da questo punto in poi inizia una ricca varietà di percorsi in discesa su terreno battuto davvero divertente. prestare attenzione perchè la maggior parte del percorso è all'ombra quindi con scarsità di luce. dopo vari tratti in discesa e qualche salità si ritornerà al piazzale dove ritornerete al capanno dei cacciatori che abbiamo trovato precedentemente. alla sucessiva piazzola giarare a sx e prendere per montorsaio (397 mt.). a montorsaio si può rinfrescarsi. scendere dal paese e prendere un tratto sterrato molto veloce, dal quale si prenderà un single track in discesa molto veloce che ci riporterà sulla strada asfaltata per batignano. la varietà di percorsi è eccezionale, molto del percorso si sviluppa sotto le cime degli alberi e, pertanto, molto fresco in estate; ricco di punti dove rifornirsi d'acqua, alterna tratti tecnici a discese veloci. davvero bellissimo. spero che vi piaccia e sarebbe bello che postiate le vosttre impressioni. un ringraziamento particolare va al "puro" di rampigrifo, che ci ha portato alla scoperta di questo itinerario. partenza dalla pista ciclabile sulla grosseto-roselle

Montorsaio you can cool off. get out of town and take a dirt road very fast, from which you take a single track downhill very fast to take us back on the road for Batignano. the variety of routes is outstanding, much of the route is below the tops of the trees and, therefore, very cool in summer; rich in places where supplies of water, alternates technical fast descents. really beautiful.
