Da Ussita, passando per S.Eusebio ed il bosco del Cerreto, è relativamente facile l'ascesa al Monte Torrone (1344 m.), balcone sul gruppo del Monte Bove e del Vettore. La discesa inizia subito dopo la vetta, segue la cresta che lo unisce al Monte Efra e continua poi nel fitto bosco dove è essenziale seguire la traccia gps e i numerosi segni rossi sulle piante per non rischiare di perdersi. Quando il bosco si dirada e diminuisce la pendenza si può scegliere se continuare per Visso o svoltare per Ussita (la nostra scelta) per un sentiero molto sporco, sassoso, pedalabile al 30% circa, con continui saliscendi, che mette alla prova la resistenza fisica, la destrezza e l'equilibrio del biker. Certo che basterebbe veramente poco a renderlo fruibile per passeggiate ed escursioni ed è un vero peccato che le amministrazioni dei comuni di Ussita e Visso lo lasciano morire così, dimenticato ed abbandonato, quando invece potrebbe essere un formidabile strumento d'uso turistico per il collegamento con Frontignano di Ussita.
