Il punto di partenza è fissato in loc. Gosparini dal piazzale antistante il ristorante.Da qui si sale in sella e si attraversa la strada asfaltata per imboccare la carrareccia ben visibile che ci porterà, dopo circa 800 mt, alla comoda sterrata che percorriamo per circa 180 mt per poi svoltare seccamente a sinistra per il bel sentiero che corre tra i prati sommitali. Giunti in cima alla collina svoltiamo a destra per la discesa che ci porterà ad un bivio ed imbocchiamo la sterrata a destra che corre in leggera pendenza direzione di Cortona.
Pedaliamo per circa 1 km fino a giungere alla strada statale che da Montanare porta a Pierle, la risaliamo per circa 180 mt. per poi imboccare l'ampia strada che sale sulla sulla sinistra per poi proseguire dopo 100 mt. per la faticosa salita che corre in direzione della vetta. Percorriamo la bella carrareccia che corre sulla vetta per giungere al parco del Monte Ginezzo dove imbocchiamo l'asfaltata che in pochi minuti ci porterà a Portole.Continuiamo a seguire l'asfaltata che scende in direzione Cortona per giungere al piazzale della trattoria Castel Girardi che attraversiamo per imboccare una ripida sterrata che ci porterà a pedalare tra viti ed olivi fino a giungere ad un piccolo guado e poi ad una asfaltata secondaria che percorriamo per circa 700 mt per poi svoltare sulla sinistra sulla strada principale che corre verso Pierle , la percorriamo per circa 1km e poco prima del cimitero svoltiamo a destra oltrepassando un ponte per poi imboccare la salita che prosegue sulla destra prima ed sinistra poi, continuismo sequendo le indicazioni "casa Faulle" giunti alla suddetta casa si imbocca il single track sulla sinistra (prestare molta attenzione perchè assolutamente poco evidente, prendere come riferimento una piccola toretta di mattoni posta all'inizio della proprietà privata, il sentiero corre li dietro) si prosegue in single track scorrevole completamente sotto bosco che ci porterà ad una strada di sabbia e roccia che imbocchiamo girandoa destra, dopo pochi minuti ci troviamo al cancello del parco di Castelluccio che attraversiamo completamente per giungere alla SS416 che percorriamo in salita per circa 350 mt per poi imboccare al livello di una piazzola di sosta la carrareccia che corre in dicesa, giunti ad un casolare imbocchiamo la strada che costeggia la recinzione per poi svoltare dopo 100 mt. sulla sinistra continuando a scendere questa volta per un tracciato poco evidente finno a giungere ad un un piccolo borgo dove incontriamo una stretta asfaltata che ci riporta a Vernazzano, da qui si prosegue in direzione Passignano S/T.
