Quasi due itinerari in uno, la salita al forte del Malamot ci donerà una vista spettacolare, meteo permettendo.salita agevole su sterrato quasi fino in cima. per la discesa abbiamo optato la variante su sentiero prima in cresta e poi ripida sulla Batteria del forte Pattacroce.
Di nuovo su sterrato si arriva alla strada lungo lago del Moncenisio,si prosegue fino a prendere la salita su asfalto fino al col du petit montcenis, si entra nel vallone di Savine e si risale su sentiero fino al Lago e oltre fino al col du Clapier. Salita impegnativa ma al ritorno discesa entusiamante, in prossimità del col du petitmoncenis si taglia a destra per passare al rifugio omonimo, il resto è strada + sterrato dove siamo già transitati. Si risale la valle di Susa, autostrada A32 oppure statale SS25/SS24. da Susa svoltare a destra direzione Moncenisio, si lascia l'auto poco sopra la diga.

Back on dirt you get to the road along Lake of Mont Cenis, continue to take the climb up to the Col du asphalt petit Montcenis, enter the valley of Savine and climb on the trail to Lake up and over the Col du Clapier.
