Trail Description

The route is short but fascinating part by Cismon del Grappa, in Valsugana, and leads towards Lake Corlo to explore the many small villages now almost abandoned, where time seems to stand still.
From Cismon more precisely by the request of Our Lady of Pedancino, we begin the climb is not difficult to Lake Corlo along the old valley road carved into the rock now closed to traffic for falling rocks (transit at your own risk). Within a few kilometers we reach the first village, Incino and shortly after we leave the main turning left up to the houses of Tanisol.
Here we go for no more than two minutes on foot, up the steep path on the left which becomes well early cycle by offering some steps overlooking the valley and the lake. In a short time we come to some buildings partially restored plunged into the thick of the forest (resort Pomer), then continue until you reach a wide and sometimes steep trail that allows us to go down to the lake.
Then we reach the Rocca fraction of Arsiè and cross the spectacular Ponte della Vittoria (nicknamed "the ropes"): built in 1927 to connect the two sides after the construction of the artificial, is characterized by two massive stone pillars that support the structure in strings. Tight and flaky, until a few years ago it was the only access road to the Val Carazzagno and you could have some small jeep unauthorized access. Today, accompanied by a warning not to cause fluctuations can cause a static flow, it is definitely a unique and characteristic passage.
Reach the other side begin to climb out of asphalt, deflecting the second bend towards the Val Carazzagno: with the bottom part of the dirt road and partly cemented we go into this deep and narrow valley in the ears with the sound of water on the bottom of the canyon. After the fraction Boldi the slope increases and the roadway narrows, passing the few houses of Carazzagno Scoccau and arriving finally at Forzeleta.
The pretty village, partly renovated, is located on a fork from which the view sweeps over the valley below and the lake, reaching in the distance the peaks of the Dolomites. From the saddle, we go down the path towards the lake, not too technical, but rather moved from the stony bottom, back across the pond on a pedestrian walkway and headed Rocca.
Let's get back on the left bank of the lake, thanks to new road bridge, and along a short stretch of road already traveled. At the junction through the Val Carazzagno but we keep the right towards the villages Berti and Zanetti. Held the right to a second bifurcation continue to rise with the decision and gradients of around 20%, passing the old houses of Berti and hobbling on a fund largely cemented.
Reaching 700m altitude. gradients drop dramatically and with a final stretch more easily arrive at Borgo Zanetti: a place out of time and the world, in part abandoned, perched on the steep northern slope of Monte Grappa towards the Valle del Corlo and Valsugana.
< br> From Zanetti go down firmly on the steep path to Corlo, with stretches of cobblestones and rocky, treacherous when wet. The trail passes through the heart of the small village, passing through the narrow streets and alleys, ending on the tarmac that goes from the dam. We continue downhill, but after the first bend we turn left, facing a short climb that connects with the road that connects Cismon the Monte Grappa. Fully paved recently, we follow downhill to return to Cismon and, turning right at the starting point.
Cismon is located along the Valsugana, a few miles north of Bassano del Grappa.
E 'reachable via Valsugana both from Trento to Bassano, Feltre-way or from Valbelluna Arsiè.
The route starts from the northern outskirts of the village, near the church of Our Lady of Pedancino, at the mouth the old road to Incino
