NOTE:
1) Vi sono difficoltà tecniche: due salite da fare a piedi per lunghi tratti; una discesa in sella solo per i più abili; un tratto molto esposto per circa 2 Km (dal Rif. Bortot al ponte Mariano) che sconsiglio di fare in sella. Quanto detto giustifica la bassa ciclabilità (circa mezz’ora a piedi)
2) Si consiglia di portarsi una torcia elettrica per la galleria (circa 400 m)
3) Le due deviazioni: all’Olt del Medon ed al Rif. Col di Roanza sono semplici e remunerative; al Rif. si può pranzare, visto che dopo restano solo piccole risalite..
DESCRIZIONE :
Si parte dal park del cimitero di Belluno Ovest (rubinetto all’interno); per stradine in parte asfaltate e ben alberate, si sale al paese di TISOI e quindi alla borgata di Pascoli; la discesa sulla val Medon è molto tecnica e dopo Le Polse si faranno tratti a piedi. Imperdibile la digressione alle gole dell’OLT dove si capta l’acqua potabile del Medon. La risalita verso Case Bortot è stata da noi denominata “via dei ciclamini”: se andate d’estate vedrete che il nome è meritato !
Rifocillati a Case Bortot si affronta il tratto dell’alta via n° 1 – (CAI 501) con veduta eccezionale sulla Schiara, ed esposto sulla scoscesa valle dell’ARDO (vedi nota 2).
Dal ponte Mariano si risale a spinta un primo tratto, si superano una serie di tornantini fino quasi all’imbocco della galleria (non tanto la pendenza ma il fondo ghiaioso potranno appiedarvi).
Dopo la galleria alcune rampe portano ad un punto panoramico da cui non potrete rinunciare ad uno sguardo (e foto) verso nord con superba vista sulla Schiara con la celeberrima Gusela del Vescovà.
Con piacevoli saliscendi si va ad incociare la strada del Col di Roanza: se vi serve pausa e rifornimenti, una breve digressione al vicino rifugio è quella che fa per voi.
Discesa, su asfalto fino a Sopracroda, poi un sentierino piuttosto tecnico vi porta all’Ardo dove cercherete di guadare nel punto più basso: portatevi verso sx, dove il torrente si allarga
(in piena estate un pediluvio, nell’acqua limpida dell’Ardo, risulterà gradevole).
Dopo il guado una breve ma ripida risalita per arrivare a Bolzano (bellunese) è inevitabile.
Per stradine e tratturi a bordo prato ci si dirige verso BL; ultima “ciliegina" la risalita al Bosco delle Castagne attraverso un tratturo, che d’estate è seminascosto dall’erba; seguendo la traccia si rientra nel bosco affrontando l’ultima discesa tecnica che termina proprio alla periferia di Belluno; ancora pochi Km di strada piana e si arriva al parcheggio.
Dalla periferia bassa (lungo-Piave) di Belluno, si seguono ind. per Lambioi / FELTRE ;
Si supera la galleria prima del park Lamboi; si passa, in salita, una seconda galleria e poco dopo si svolta a sx per il cimitero (vedi indicazioni)

NOTE:
1) There are technical difficulties, two climb by foot for long stretches; a descent into the saddle for only the most skilled; suddenly very exposed for approximately 2 Km (from Ref. Bortot the bridge Mariano) that do not recommend to do in the saddle. The above justifies the low cycling (about half an hour walk)
2) It is recommended to bring a flashlight for the tunnel (about 400 m)
3) The two deviations: OLT of Medon and the Rif. Col Roanza are simple and profitable; to Ref. you can have lunch, after seeing that there are only small ascents ..
DESCRIPTION:
It starts from the park in the cemetery of Belluno West (tap into); for partially paved streets and well wooded, climb to the village of Tisoi and then to the village of Pascoli; the descent of the val Medon is very technical and after you make Polse The sections on foot. Do not miss the digression OLT gorges where it picks up the drinking water of Medon. The climb to Case Bortot was called by us "via the cyclamen" if you go in summer you will see that the name is well deserved!
Refreshed in Case Bortot tackling the section of Alta Via n ° 1 - (CAI 501 ) with exceptional view on Schiara, and exposed on the steep valley dell'Ardo (see note 2).
From the bridge Mariano goes back to push a first section and past a series of hairpin bends to near the entrance of the tunnel (not so the slope but the gravel will appiedarvi).
After the tunnel some ramps leading to a vantage point from which you can not give up a look (and photos) to the north with superb views of the Schiara with the famous Gusela of Vescovà. Woman With nice ups and downs you go to incociare the road to the Col Roanza: if you need to pause and supplies, a brief digression to the nearest shelter is the one that's right for you.
descent on asphalt to Sopracroda, then a rather technical all'Ardo path takes you where you try to wade in the lowest point: bring towards the left, where the river widens
(a foot bath in the middle of summer, in the clear dell'Ardo, it will be pleasant.)
After the ford a short but steep ascent to get to Bolzano (Belluno) is inevitable.
To narrow sheep tracks and on board the lawn go towards BL; last "icing" the ascent to the Bosco delle Castagne through a cattle track, which is hidden by the grass in the summer, following in the track falls in the woods facing the final technical descent that ends just on the outskirts of Belluno, yet few kilometers of road plain and arrive at the parking lot.
From the outskirts low (long-Piave) of Belluno, follow ind. Lambioi for / FELTRE;
Go through the tunnel before the park Lamboi; passing, uphill, a second tunnel and shortly after turn left to the cemetery (see directions)
