In alcuni punti molto impegnativa e tecnica.

path a lot of fun especially in the downhill. The first climb is on asphalt and is quite challenging. The road is very narrow and is in two-way traffic, be careful. Reached the cemetery of Settignano, on the left can be seen among the cypress trees l 'beginning of the dirt road. The first 100 meters are quite technical. In a few manage to stay in the saddle (... I will not even try !!!) ... then the path becomes much pedaling, passing in the grove behind Vincigliata and Castel di Poggio. With a little detour, to make a short but fun downhill, cross Villa Peyron and then return to the path of Riding. In short we head towards where Riotorto with a 300 meter asphalt take it back to the dirt road. The climb is indicated as Roman road is a "cobbled easy to cycle." After reaching the asphalt we proceed to Ontignano. The road soon becomes a dirt road and then, at a farm, it turns into just a few meters in a streto path in the woods .. uphill and infrascato. From there cira three kilometers you will reach Poggio Tortore. The last part of the climb is really challenging. Poggio reached the Tortore follow the path that brings to CAI Ontignano. The descent is really beautiful and rewards of the efforts made in the climb. In some very challenging and technical. Ragiunto Ontignano you are re-directed towards Vincigliata for percorere the classic single on the outskirts of Florence and from the castle back to the valley. Reached Ponte a shelf, asphalt until you return to Red Bridge.
