Ci siamo ritrovati al parcheggio della farmacia di Arvier, sulla strada principale. Qui lasciamo le auto e veniamo scarrozzati in furgone fino a Saint Nicolas da dove cominciamo a pedalare.
1 km di asfalto fino a Chaillod, passate le case troviamo sulla sx una sterrata che sale, la percorriamo e ci troviamo nuovamente su bitume da calpestare in salita per fare un lungo tornante riportandoci su sterrato dove si imbocca un lungo e panoramico traverso su sentiero accompagnato da un rigagnolo d'acqua. Sbuchiamo di nuovo su asfalto e ovviamente seguiamo la lingua nera in salita fino a Vens dove ci godiamo il calducci bevendo un caffè. Attraversiamo la frazione e via, un altro bel traverso con qualche ostacolo da spallare prima d'arrivare ad una strada che da prima ci fa scivolare in là e poi in qua nella valle poi sale avvicinandoci al Col de Bard, raggiunto lasciando la carrareccia in prossimita di una malga, piegando a sx su 1000 tracce sparse formate dalle vacche, quasi fatte apposta per disorientarci ma niente paura la direzione è inconfondibile e subito troviamo il sentiero che ci accompagna al Colle. Bene, panino !
Ripartiamo con brevi saliscendi tenendo leggermente la dx e poi..... si scende! Discesa varia: tecnica, scorrevole, pietraie, ecc. Alcuni tratti esposti, fate attenzione.

We cross the village and away, another fine cross from spallare with a few obstacles before reaching a road from us before he slides in there and then here in the valley then climbs approaching the Col de Bard, achieved by leaving the cart in the vicinity of a hut, bending left traces scattered formed in 1000 from the cows, almost tailor-made to disorient but do not worry the direction is unmistakable and immediately find the path that takes us to the Hill.
