Bormio-Cima Bianca-Santa Caterina Valfurva-Passo Zebrù-Bormio
Questo giro è uno dei migliori dove io abbia mai messo le ruote (fino ad ora) per 3 semplici motivi:
-Panorami spettacolari.
-Quote raggiunte.
-Discese su singletrack infinite.
La traccia è divisa in due,(non ho considerato i pezzi meccanizzati).
-Da Cima Bianca fino a Santa Caterina Valfurva.
-Dal rifugio Pizzini a Bormio.
Il mio consiglio se lo si vuole effettuare tutto in giornata è quello di farlo meccanizzato ovvero tramite funivia da Bormio a Cima Bianca,e la risalita da S.C.V al Pizzini
tramite navetta (meglio prenotare),ciò non toglie che la si può fare tutta pedalata però in 2 giorni.
Per info:
Prima parte:
Partenza e parcheggio c/o la funivia di Bormio, si sale in funivia fino a cimabianca (3018 mt),da qui comincia la discesa su pietraia che ci porterà fino alla località
"Bei Laghetti"(2720 mt),come dice la parola sono dei piccoli laghetti di montagna con un'acqua dal color blu intenso,seguire sempre il sentiero fino ad arrivare alla
"Bocca di profa"(2663 mt) dove si troverà un cartello con le varie indicazioni,seguire x Santa Caterina,dopo una breve discesa ancora su pietraia e attraversamento
di un torrentello il sentiero comincia a salire in modo deciso e ci costringe a spingere o spallare la bike x circa 10 min.fino ad arrivare allo scollinamento
ed iniziare tutta la discesa piuttosto flow fino a S.C.V. dove prenderemo la navetta x il Pizzini!!
Seconda parte:
Dal Pizzini(2707 mt) ci aspettano circa 3/4 d'ora di spinta/spalla bike per arrivare allo scollinamento del Passo Zebrù(3005 mt) il punto più alto
del nostro giro,una sosta contemplativa è d'obbligo visto il panorama che ci circonda ed i ghiacciai che si possono toccare con mano!!
Da qui inizierà la discesa spettacolare da fare tutta in sella,a parte un piccolo tratto piuttosto difficile nella parte alta da fare a piedi,che ci porterà fino a Sant'Antonio(1339 mt),
per poi tramite 15 min su asfalto arrivare fino a al parcheggio a Bormio.
Una precisazione...io nell'ultimo tratto prima di arrivare a Sant'Antonio ho tagliato per i prati,il mio consiglio è di proseguire sulla strada fino alla località
San Nicolò(1329 mt).
Che dire...giro piuttosto impegnativo,la fatica si fa sentire anche per le quote raggiunte,ma veramente SPETTACOLARE!! c/o funivia di Bormio
Bormio-Cima Bianca-Santa Caterina-Pas-Zebrù Bormio
This ride is one of the best where I've put the wheels (so far) for 3 simple reasons:
-Panorami spectacular. < br> -Quote reached.
-Discese of endless singletrack.
The track is divided into two, (I have not seen the pieces mechanized).
-From Cima Bianca to Santa Caterina.
-Since Pizzini hut in Bormio.
My advice if you want to do everything in one day is to do it mechanized or by cable car from Bormio to Cima Bianca, and the ascent from the SCV Pizzini
via shuttle (best book), this does not mean that you can do the whole ride but in 2 days.

First part:
out and parking c / o The cable car to Bormio, go up in the cable car up to cimabianca (3018 mt), from here begins the descent of the stony that will take us to the resort photos "Beautiful Lakes" (2720 mt), as the name implies are small ponds mountain with the deep blue water, always follow the path until you get to the photos "Mouth Profa" (2663 m) where you will find a sign with the various indications, follow x Santa Caterina, after a short descent even on stony ground and crossing a small stream
of the trail begins to climb decisively and forces us to push the bike or spallare x 10 min.fino to get the brow
and start all the way down rather flow up to SCV where we take the shuttle x Pizzini !!
Second part:
Since Pizzini (2707 mt), we expect about three quarters of an hour of push / shoulder bike to get to the brow of the Passo Zebrù (3005 m) the highest point of our tour
, contemplative rest is necessary, as the landscape that surrounds us and the glaciers that you can touch !!
From here begins the spectacular descent to do all in saddle, apart from a small stretch pretty hard on the top by foot, that will take us to St. Anthony (1339 mt), Buy, and then by 15 min of asphalt up to the parking lot in Bormio.
On A clarification ... I last stretch before arriving at St. Anthony I cut through the fields, my advice is to continue on the road until you reach
San Nicolò (1329 mt.)
Yelp say ... around quite challenging, fatigue is felt even the odds reached, but truly SPECTACULAR !! c / o cable car to Bormio
