Un bel giro alternativo sul versante orientale del nostro bellissimo Mongibello.
Si parte dal paese di Fornazzo, in direzione linguaglossa ad 1 km circa si svolta a sx e inizia la salita che diventerà via via sempre più impegnativa, il sudore versato ne vale la pena per raggiungere il rifugio di Monte Crisimo. Da qua la salita si addolcisce, si lascia il bosco della Giarrita per entrare nella secolare pineta di Linguaglossa nei pressi del rifugio Brunek.
Si prosegue lungo la statale per un paio di km per poi rientrare nello sterrato nei pressi di Monte Baracca e Monte Sartorius, qua siamo al GPM 1700slm ai piedi del Rifugio Citelli.
Da qui inizia la lunga discesa attraversando il maestoso Bosco della Cubania.

A nice alternative tour on the eastern side of our beautiful Mount Etna.
It starts from the village of Fornazzo towards linguaglossa about 1 km, turn left and start the climb that will become gradually more and more challenging, sweat poured worth the effort to reach the shelter of Mount Crisimo. From here the climb mellows, you leave the forest of Giarrita to enter the pine forest near the shelter of Lingfield Brunek.
Continue along the road for a few miles and then back in the dirt near Monte cabin and Monte Sartorius, here we are at the foot of the GPM 1700slm Rifugio Citelli.
From here begins the long descent through the majestic forest of Cubania.
