Ore 8:00 del mattino, arrancando con il pandinobike su per Forca di Presta io ed il Papero avevamo gia colto l'occasione per scattare qualche foto a Pizzo di Sevo e Macera della Morte. La giornata si presentava alquanto perfetta per un'escursione in alta quota con gli amici "sibillini". Scendendo verso Pian Grande improvvisamente ci ritroviamo avvolti da umidità e nebbia che qui fa da padrona...In un paesaggio stile "Silent Hill" il Papero infreddolito mi tira il giubbino e propone uno stravecchio come Paraflù al bar di Castelluccio... come rifiutare? Al percheggio poco sopra Pian Grande ci sono ad attenderci Sergio e Peppe, unitamente ad altri bikers tra cui l'amico Luca Giampieri. Si parte per la nuova avventura! Prendendo la provinciale in direzione della piana subito svoltiamo a sx per il sentiero n. 203 del C.A.I. che attraversa i Colli Alti e Bassi. Il fondo si presenta buono ma la pendenza improvvisa, non preceduta da un doveroso "scaldagamba", mette a dura prova i nostri muscoli. Ma questi dannati cinghiali dei Sibillini sembrano immuni dalla fatica e noncuranti della pendenza!!! Bene, non essendo in gran forma fisica e leggermente raffreddato, mi faccio coraggio e cerco di tenere il passo. Arriviamo alla Capanna Ghezzi dove ci attende un gregge di pecore ed un branco di cani mansueti. Breve sosta per i rifornimenti d'acqua, mentre la nebbia si è diradata lasciando spazio ad un panorama mattutino degno di report fotografico. Ora il tracciato si restringe e sale fin su...alle Pianacce. Brevi ma piacevoli tratti a spinta si alternano a strappi pedalabili mentre il nostro sguardo si perde all'orizzonte. Sotto...la piana si presenta come una coppa gelato ricoperta di panna montata e le vette intorno la decorano come coni biscotto. Eccezionale la vista da quassù! E lo sanno bene gli amici Andrea e Lido che muniti di potenti mezzi tecnologici immortalano i più bei momenti di questa ascesa verso il Monte Argentella. Giungiamo a Forca Viola (quota 1936 mt), da questo punto Peppe mi informa che il Lago di Pilato è agevolmente raggiungiubile tramite sentiero che porta a Forca di Pala...allora la mia mente corre subito nel futuro elaborando in tempo reale uno splendido anello casomai da condividere con "chi se la sente" (per riprendere le parole di Sergio che annunciava l'uscita di oggi). Da Forca Viola prendiamo a sx un sentiero che conduce ad un'antica fonte. Breve sosta e poi tutti insieme appassionatamente verso la vetta. Attraversiamo la lunga prateria ai piedi del Monte Argentella ed ogni bikers sceglie la sua rotta. Come serpenti verso la preda strisciamo sul fianco della montagna cogliendo la maestosità del Vettore alla nostra dx. Quel diavolo di Peppe è già in vetta seguito da Sergio mentre gli altri del gruppo si caricano la bici in spalla per affrontare la "scalinata" che li separa da quota 2200. Finalmente sopra! Panorama mozzafiato,cielo terso, assenza di vento, 21 gradi di temperatura...perfect day. Scattata la classica foto "amicizia", l'avventura continua in discesa puntando il Passo di Sasso Borghese. Alla dx si vede Pian delle Cavalle prive del laghetto e davanti a noi il paesaggio lunare del Sasso. Non è finita...c'è ancora da fare un piccolo sforzo pedalando verso il Monte Porche. Fatica è compiuta! Svoltiamo a sx per una traccia che precipita a valle verso la fonte della Iumenta. Il gruppo scende sprezzante del pericolo con il Papero che sembra avere tra le gambe una full top di gamma anzichè una vecchia front. Ma nei pressi della fonte improvvisamente la "vissuta" bici lo abbandona regalandogli sul più bello la rottura della catena...Intervento immediato di mastro Peppe che munito di kit di sopravvivenza tenta invano di risolvere il problema (la catena risulta incompatibile con le maglie di scorta). Il gruppo riparte privo di un componente che potrà comumque quasi chiudere l'anello in discesa sfruttando un percorso alternativo. Percorriamo un'ampia brecciata in discesa quando Peppe Sergio e il Cinghiale sfruttano a sx un esile sentiero per precipitare nel Fosso Brecciaro... in un attimo siamo sotto e veniamo raggiunti dal resto del gruppo che ha preferito scendere aggirando sulla sx il Monte della Croce. Ora si continua in discesa libera ma resa insidiosa da pietrozzi e scanalature. Ognuno si cimenta nelle proprie evoluzioni lasciandosi alla sx la Macchia di San Lorenzo. Siamo di nuovo in piana, Castelluccio ora è sopra di noi, siamo vicini all'arrivo. Pedalando fianco a fianco io Sergio e Peppe attraversiamo i prati dirigendoci verso Piè di Vallone, il gruppo ci precede ormai prossimo alla meta. Peppe unisce l'utile al dilettevole raccogliendo alcuni funghi prataioli presumibilmente da divorare in serata...buongustaio lui...!!! E cosa dire...?? L'ultima immagine di questa bella giornata che mi resta impressa nella mente è quella di Peppe che si allontana tra i prati con una busta di funghi penzolante......grandioso!!!
Un particolare ringraziamento alla "mente" ed al "braccio" di questo bellissimo anello....un saluto con la speranza di ritrovarci presto agli amici "sibillini".

8:00 am, struggling with the pandinobike up Forca di Presta and the Duck I had already taken the opportunity to take some pictures to Pizzo di Sevo and Macera of Death. The day it appeared quite perfect for a hike at high altitude with Friends "cryptic." Going down to Pian Grande suddenly we find ourselves enveloped in fog and humidity here is the host ... A parking the Pian Grande to just above there are waiting for Sergio and Peppe, together with other bikers including his friend Luca Giampieri. It is part of the new adventure! Taking the road in the direction of the flat immediately turn left along the path n. 203 C.A.I. through the Colli Treble and Bass. The background looks good but the slope of a sudden, not preceded by a proper "scaldagamba", puts a strain on our muscles. But these damn boars Sibillini seem immune from fatigue and careless of the slope !!! Well, not being in great physical shape and slightly cooled, I pluck up courage and try to keep up. We arrive at the Capanna Ghezzi where we expected a flock of sheep and a herd of tame dogs. Short stop for supplies of water, while the fog thinned, leaving room for a morning panorama worthy of photographic report. Now the path narrows and rises all the way up to ... Pianacce. Short but pleasant stretches to push alternate with tears ridable while our gaze is lost on the horizon. Under the plain ... looks like an ice cream sundae topped with whipped cream and peaks around the cones as cookie decorating. Exceptional views from up here! And they know it's friends Andrea and Lido equipped with powerful technological means immortalize the best moments of this ascent to Mount Argentella. We reach a fork Viola (altitude 1936 m), from this point Peppe informs me that the Lago di Pilato is easily raggiungiubile footpath that leads to the Forca di Pala ... then my mind goes immediately into the future processing in real-time a beautiful ring if anything to share with "those who bring himself" (in the words of Sergio announcing the release of today). Viola da Forca we left a trail that leads to an ancient source. Short stop and then all together passionately to the summit. We cross the long prairie at the foot of Mount Argentella and all bikers choose his route. How do snakes crawl towards their prey on the mountainside capturing the majesty of the Vector to our right. That devil of Peppe is already at the top, followed by Sergio while others in the group are loaded the bike on his shoulder to address the "staircase" that separates them from an altitude of 2200 finally over! Breathtaking landscapes, clear sky, no wind, 21 degrees temperature ... perfect day. Taken the classic photo "friendship", the adventure continues downward pointing the Passo di Sasso Borghese. At the right you see Pian delle Mares devoid of the pond in front of us and the lunar landscape of Sasso. It's not over ... we still have to make a little effort pedaling towards Monte Porche. Fatigue is accomplished! We turn to the left for a track that plunges into the valley towards the source of Iumenta. The group falls contemptuous of danger with the Duck who seems to have between your legs a full top of the range instead of an old front. But near the source suddenly the "experienced" bike leaves him giving him the nicest break the chain ... Immediate intervention of master Peppe equipped with a survival kit that tries in vain to solve the problem (the chain is incompatible with the mesh spare). The group starts missing a component that can comumque almost close the ring down using an alternative route. We cover a wide brecciated downhill when Sergio Peppe and exploit the Boar left a thin trail to fall into the ditch Brecciaro ... in a moment we are in and we are joined by the rest of the group who preferred to go down on the left bypassing the Mountain of the Cross . Now you continue downhill but made treacherous by pietrozzi and grooves. Everyone engages in its evolution to the left, leaving the stain of San Lorenzo. We're back in the flat, Castelluccio is now upon us, we are close upon arrival. Cycling alongside Sergio and I Peppe cross the meadows heading towards Footer Vallone, the group before us now close to the goal. Peppe combines business with pleasure picking up some mushrooms presumably to devour him ... in the evening ... gourmet !!! And what to say ... ?? The last picture of this beautiful day that I have left in my mind is that of Peppe which runs through the meadows with a bag of mushrooms dangling ...... great !!!
