Trail Description

Autore: Luigi (ruotalpina@alice.it) - certificato 27-10-2011

Dati tecnici: Km 35 – Disl. sal/disc 500 - tempo standard ore 3 ore . Quote min/max 5/350
Verso: AO – ciclabilità su tempo: 99% - G.D= 32 MEDIO
NOTE:

MIDDLE NOTES:
The descent from the pass of q. 350 is pretty bumpy (about 3 km) and in some places presents landslides at the edge of cliffs that require prudentermente to get off the bike.
DESCRIPTION:
We leave San VITO (we parked near the bike shop BIKE GREEN
()
we turned to a mechanical failure: resolved in a fast and professional!)
The idea was to make a double pass (return) of the hills between San Vito and San Priam following roads that a local paper a scale of 1: 50,000 reported.
While leg we crossed easily (great skiing, partly paved uphill and uneven with landslides downhill) in return for 1 / 4 of a climb we found the dam on a private property with high gate, so we looked for (and found) an alternative longer but much easier to San Giovanni - Rei, doing a little 'of "tricks" to avoid both SS 125 (old) that the long crossing of the town of Muravera.
In the first part, as one goes along the valley of Riu S'Arenada, the feeling of loneliness is complete: not only meets but not a living soul you see artifacts of any kind (apart from the road); to q.270 (end of pavement) the barking of a dog warns us that there is a little more on the fence of sheep, ... without a shepherd. The first refreshment point is located at the end of descent in San Priam (extreme south and the halfway point of our journey).
down from the North (East Coast), the new SS125 exit at the junction of MURAVERA - VILLAPUTZU - SAN VITO.
follows the ind. San Vito and after 1.5 km (just before the town center) is the Green Bike shop.
