Partenza dal Municipio di Villar Dora e rotta verso Avigliana centro paese. Proseguire su Corso Laghi in direzione Giaveno e seguire le indicazioni per Sacra di San Michele. Il paesaggio sulle sponde del lago grande rende piacevole la lunga salita su strada che a strappi mette alla prova la resistenza sulla pedalata. Arrivati a destinazione si ha la possibilità di godere dal dominante paesaggio che si vede dal dehors del bar e la gestione cordiale dello stesso non guasta la sosta.
Nel posteggio sulla piazza della Sacra, si nota un sentiero sulla sinistra che scende a Chiusa San Michele......la percorribilità è buona e la pendenza impegna freni e braccia.
Terminato lo sterrato si rifiata su strada chiusa al traffico a motore e pedalando si attraversa il centro storico di Sant'Ambrogio. Al semaforo, si svolta a sinistra sul doppio cavalcavia e alla rotonda proseguire a sinistra per poi risvoltare a destra in direzione di Villar Dora. In conclusione per evitare altro asfalto si è optato per il piccolo sentiero sulla sinistra che porta al centro del paese. Resta comunque un ottimo giro da evitare a ridosso di piogge perchè le vie di rientro sono gran parte su fondo pietroso.

Departure from the City Hall of Villar Dora and Avigliana route to the town center. Continue on towards Giaveno Lakes Course and follow the signs to the Sacra di San Michele.
