La prima parte in salita è in comune con l'altro percorso però prima di arrivare a oltre quota 900mt, ad un bivio in salita, piuttosto che andare a destra (e continuare a salire) abbiamo preso la deviazione a sinistra. Il percorso diventa un saliscendi molto divertente, attraverso parti di bosco sopra a Quarto. Unica pecca, essendo zona di pascolo, ogni tanto ci sono dei cancelli in filo spinato da aprire e richiudere una volta passati. C'è qualche piccolo strappetto per arrivare fino ad una piccola piazzola attrezzata con qualche panchina (il Ceppo) e da dove si può godere la vista del panorama (da questa piazzola parte anche un altro sentiero cai che poi va a ricongiungersi poco più a valle al resto del percorso).
Pochi metri prima di questa piazzola, seguendo un altro sentiero cai, si passa attraverso un bosco in un single track un pò impegnativo, non tanto per la pendenza quanto per la presenza di rami, rocce, radici, qualche scalino di roccia, il tutto reso scivoloso dal fogliame onnipresente nel sottobosco (ed eravamo a giugno!).
Usciti dal bosco ci si ritrova presso l'elisuperficie di quarto, cioè una piccola pista per ultraleggeri.
Ci si ributta lungo il sentiero che passa anche attraverso una tartufaia privata e ci ritroviamo in un altro single track attraverso il bosco, stavolta il sentiero è abbastanza scorrevole.
Si continua a scendere, si esce dal bosco e si arriva fino alla strada asfaltata che passa da Quarto, si gira a dx e si ritorna al punto di partenza ! Uscita di Quarto (superstrada E45 Roma-Ravenna).
Usciti dalla superstrada ci si ritrova sulla strada che porta a Quarto (a dx). Ad un km circa dall'uscita c'è un parcheggio oppure si può lasciare la macchina lungo la strada, in una delle varie aree di sosta.

The first part of the climb is in common with the other path, however, before reaching over 900m altitude, uphill to a junction, rather than going to the right (and continue to climb) we took the left fork. The path becomes a lot of fun ups and downs, through parts of the forest over a fourth. The only flaw being the grazing area, sometimes there are barbed wire gates to open and close a time gone by. There's a few little tears to get to a small area equipped with some bench (the strain) and from where you can enjoy the view of the panorama (this pitch also another path that cai then rejoins just downstream the rest of the route).
few meters before this pitch, following another path cai, passing through a forest in a single track a bit challenging, not because of the slope as for the presence of branches, rocks, roots , a few steps of rock, all slippery from the foliage ubiquitous in the undergrowth (and we were in June).
Leaving the forest we find ourselves at the helipad of the fourth, ie a small track for ultralights.
There it throws down the path that passes through a truffle private and we find ourselves in another single track through the woods, this time the trail is pretty smooth.
continues to fall, you exit the woods and you come to the asphalt passing from Quarto, turn right and return to the starting point! Out Quarto (E45 highway Roma-Ravenna).
Once off the highway you will find yourself on the road to Quarto (right). At a mile from the exit there is a car park or you can leave your car on the road, in one of several parking areas.
