Trail Description

Grazie a tutti ragazzi!

Sometimes the life of a mountain biker is quite hard, especially when for the passion we have inside, we are forced to plow through valleys, mountains to climb, to expose us to risks in complete solitude in order to satisfy our desire for the mountain. Because the mountain (the name says) is first of all mountain, nature, respect for the environment. Then he takes over this instrument (the bike), that once you have it under your buttocks creates in you a kind of psychological and physical dependence from which it is difficult to get out.
Then we come to think of being really mad "Every Given Sunday" (to recall a famous movie with Al Pacino) to let family, affections, commitments and friends to find ourselves ... drinking water from sources pastoral, scanning the horizon from the high peaks, breathing the fresh air of the woods ... coming to follow in the footsteps of the wolf. way we are now ... our lives have taken this road that never seems to end and reserve surprises ... especially when fate takes you to get to know people ... unique.

Do you know Sergio and Peppe? Too bad if you do not!
The Boar goes away in San Pellegrino (Norcia), together with fellow adventurers. located on site are Sergio Barboni and Joseph Reversi two which together exceed the century with age, but that is the synthesis of friendship and love for this great sport!
is part of the village of San Pallegrino, beautiful but very windy day. Sergio shows some concern when we're in high altitude but, I think, together we are stronger and contemptuous of the pitfalls weather. We are moving to the dirt road that joins the provincial and, at the junction towards Ascoli Piceno, we left for the long road that goes up to 16km per Forca Canapine. Grind km casting his eyes on the Plains of St. Scholastica that more salt and more takes on the outlines of a painting. Sergio and Peppe are gone ... they seem to have put the turbo ... but behind a sharp bend we find Sergio climbed up the side of the mountain that takes pictures the crew intent on climbing ... ..Peppe, further, that with camera in tow, serves as a director. At the foot of Mount Serrone take a right and continue climbing until you reach the path 102 of the CAI
The temperature drops, was not expected such a sudden fall. The wind that blows menacing puts a strain on our balance, sometimes pushes you forward, then you want to throw you off balance ... down. You go up to a brecciated up to Pantani of Accumoli, we are at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level and the top of the hills appear covered with powdered sugar. The gps marks temp -0.6 ... other than powdered sugar, ice is !!!
Go around the first Monte dei Signori and then Monte Utero to finally arrive to a source from where begins the long and fast descent through the woods, bottom with some rocks loose ... do not worry. The group launches into speed while I follow them from behind with Peppe who keeps filming. All of a sudden out of the corner of the eye perceive that Peppe is close to me but suddenly do not feel it. I turn around and I see him on the ground, bleeding to the face, sore but all in all good against the bad crash. He gets up and not because of what the capacitandosi slowly resumed the journey. A valley is Sergio, equipped with first aid kit, which provides assistance to the victim. A few jokes to defuse and everything seems to be over, even if the shoulder pain begins to be felt. But the group is compact, there is harmony, cooperation and healthy competition ...... .proprio what we needed this Saturday in the fall. It 'a succession of passes, evolutions and rickety curves while the photo book takes shape. Everything takes place in a climate of solidarity and respect for others, the problem becomes a problem of all. This is the message that passes as we descend into the bush. Have finally reached the village of Nottoria we rest in the shade of an old oak tree, the wind gives us a respite and with the sun warm us back. The dirt road to San Pellegrino presents no difficulty.
The ring is closed.
We bikers Laga we hope that this beautiful day will mark the beginning of a new friendship, a new and great adventure !!
E 'was an important day for me to confirm what I was thinking for some time now ... "we're not crazy, we are not alone in this sport there is room for all .basta LIVING ... only for this sport "
Thank you all guys!
