Trail Description

Fantastic ride through the Pasubio clockwise before climbing up to the Rifugio Lancia and then to the Refuge Pope through the places of memory.
The first downhill section is unfortunately on asphalt. Da Pian delle Fugazze down towards Rovereto. Instead of following the main road, turn left towards Camposilvano and then under the dam Specchieri. Road charming and definitely less crowded.
Joints in town Valmorbia contrà Dosso (650mt) begins the path that leads to Fort Pozzacchio
Then drop on a beautiful albeit short trail to Pozzacchio, then lane overview of Pian del Levro with the eponymous monastery in Boccaldo where the climb begins to Giazzera (1100mt) and the approach to the hut Lancia (1825mt) on a beautiful trail.
After a well-deserved break at the refuge continue along the trail which was to become the path that with some sections of the nozzle to push the door towards Strings (1900mt).
Then beautiful narrow path up towards the Sella Roite (2080mt) enjoying an incredible view on the underlying Vallarsa, the Group Carega and Pasubio with Palòn to Top dominate the background.
The trail continues to the Sella Small Roite (2111mt) and Tangle Harness (2077mt) where you change the side and you can admire the typical bleak but fascinating landscape of Pasubio against the backdrop of the plateau of Folgaria and the Asiago Plateau. It manages to stay in the saddle for most of the track even if sometimes you are forced to go down and bring the bike in the back for short stretches.
Then we arrive at the Monument to the fallen of the Seven Crosses where thought goes to the young soldiers Italians and Austrians who have sacrificed their lives for their country. Other than the bike!
When they came to Harness Command and the church Santa Maria meets the trail that leads quickly to the Refuge Papa (1928mt).
You can then choose to go down the road of Scarubbi, but that compel to go back to Pian delle Fugazze from 900m to Loc.Ponte Green or descend directly to the beautiful Road of Heroes reporting quickly to Pian delle Fugazze.
NOTES:
I opted to turn clockwise to avoid the long and tedious ascent of Vallarsa, knowing that before going to Fort Pozzacchio and then to the seat of Roite there would have been to push the bike in some places. I much prefer to do some walking involved that ride on bitumen ...
However some sections being in the saddle will depend on the skill of the rider in the technical sections.
Without counterclockwise maybe you stay longer in the saddle, But there is so much asphalt uphill towards Pian delle Fugazze.
Narrow path and exposed between the nozzle and Ropes Saddle Roite requires concentration.
On 29.09.2011 the path and the access road to Fort Pozzacchio was closed for renovation ... we passed the same ... Passo Pian delle Fugazze from Rovereto or by Valli del Pasubio.
Free parking near the beginning of the road of the heroes. The others are on pace for a fee.
