Parcheggio a fianco della ciclabile che corre lungo l’Adige all’altezza di Mattarello.
• Percorrere la ciclabile in direzione sud fino, primo attraversamento sull’Adige girare a sx verso il paese di Mattarello
• Seguire per un breve tratto la statale in direzione nord e al bivio con Vial al Doss seguire la strada su pendenze sempre più impegnative
• All’altezza della cava attraversare il ponte e da ora in poi incomincia il vero divertimento con pendenze che in brevi tratti superano il 40% e non scendono mai sotto il 15%......su fondo sempre cementato
• Alla fine del tratto cementato la sterrata diviene finalmente più comoda e in breve si giunge a Malga Palazzo dopo essere transitati per Malga Imprec
• Ritorniamo sui nostri passi e all’altezza di Malga Imprec prendiamo a dx su sterrata con fondo in erba e terra, dopo brevi ma intensi strappetti si giunge ad un cancelletto che ci immette sul sentiero n°446 da cui si gode un ottimo panorama sulla valle dell’Adige si giunge al Sasso dell’Aquila, suggestivo sasso a forma di aquila.
• Seguiamo ora il n°450 facendo attenzione ad un bivio non proprio visibile che dobbiamo prendere a dx per poi scendere su magnifico sentiero fino in fondovalle, detto anche sentiero delle zeta che taglia per ben tre volte delle tagliafuoco
• Sulla terza tagliafuoco seguirla facendo attenzione dopo una stretta s ad un bivio da prendere a sx e seguire in docili falsipiani fino ad arrivare a forte Fornas ruderi della 1° guerra mondiale
• Ora seguendo il n°446 con stretti tornantini giungiamo nuovamente a Mattarello
Qui possiamo trovare una descrizione questa volta però con partenza da Rovereto Scanuppia (Besenello-malga Palazzo-Mattarello)
Possibile scaricare una mappa per Garmin da mettere in Map Source da quain cui è riportato tutto il percorso.
Purtroppo quest’anno è stato posto un divieto di circolazione per cicli, unica nota negativa ma ultimamente l’ho percorso senza problemi.
Uscita casello autostradale Trento, direzione sud sulla superstrada e uscire al bivio di Mattarello.
