Verso ORARIO - Quota min/max 220m/710m -
Da Prosecco ci si dirige verso Borgo Grotta Gigante. Prima di arrivare a Gropada si passa il Monte Franco e il Monte dei Pini seguento il bellissimo sentiero n. 3 che corre quasi sulla linea di confine. Si attraversa la strada tra Basovizza e Lipica per iniziare a salire a tornanti verso il Cocusso 670m. Brevissima discesa per risalire verso la quota max del giro. Discesa bellissima (senza frenare) verso Kozina per poi allacciarsi alla vecchia strada ferrata ora pista ciclabile della Val Rosandra. Abbandonata la ciclabile si sale verso la Vedetta San Lorenzo (magnifico panorama sul golfo di Trieste e sulla Val Rosandra). Il rientro verso Prosecco non è privo di sorprese e fatica.
P.S La via Napoleonica poco prima di tornare a Prosecco sarebbe vietata alle bici, l'amico "delta" dà questo consiglio : "se non potete usufrire della napoleonica, allora utilizzate la strada che va dal tempio mariano fino alla statale e poi proseguite nella strada difronte dove ci sono i pompieri quindi sempre dritti fino alla strada per vienna e da li a dx e poi dopo 200 mt a sx per basovizza.....molto bella la strada interna nel bosco del tempio mariano con possibili uscite in sterrato per variare...."

From Prosecco we head towards Borgo Grotta Gigante. Before arriving in Gropada you pass the Monte Franco and the Monte dei Pini seguento the beautiful path n. 3 that runs almost on the boundary line. Cross the road between Bazovica and Lipica to start to climb towards the hairpin Cocusso 670m. Short descent to ascend to the max altitude of the tour. Descent beautiful (without braking) to Kozina and then tie to the old railway cycle path now Val Rosandra. Abandoned the path climbs to the Watchtower San Lorenzo (magnificent view of the Gulf of Trieste and the Val Rosandra). The return to Prosecco is not devoid of surprises and effort.
PS The way the Napoleonic shortly before returning to Prosecco would be prohibited under the bike, the friend "delta" gives this advice: "If you can not be taken advantage of Napoleonic then use the road from the Marian shrine to the state and then go into the street in front of where we are firefighters then straight up the road to Vienna and from there to the right and then after 200m turn left for Bazovica .... .Very beautiful interior road in the woods of the Marian temple with possible exits in dirt to vary .... "
