Trail Description

categoria: mountain bike.
data: 31 marzo 2007
hanno pedalato: Luce, Fux.
tempo impiegato: 2 ore 55 min.
lunghezza: 36,85 km.
tipo strada: asfalto 16,85 km; sterrato 20 km.

have cycled: Light, Fux.
time: 2 hours 55 min.
length: 36.85 km.
type street: asphalt 16.85 km; dirt road 20 km.
Access to starting point: the tennis center via Zalamella in Ravenna is the way for this route.
Description: a hot and sunny Saturday morning, we find only two of us and saw that the day before it had rained copiously we decide to ride a quiet street nord.Da Zalamella take over the bridge and walk along the new outer ring road up to the park Theodoric, from here we bring you again for paved roads in the industrial area Bassette. We walk along Via Di Vittorio up to the kiosk flatbread, 6.4 Km from the start. We pass the bar in front of the kiosk and follow the dirt road, we pass a shed (beware of the mutt) to find a new way to Marina Romea are going through. To switch between the three channels, drain chute, drain and drain Valtorto Cupa, we have to take two narrow footbridges above which we turn to the right or below to the left on a dirt road off and beaten. Go straight and arrive at Ca 'Nuova, going straight to the bridge over the canal Cerba.La Our intention is to go straight in so-called "sabbioni" and then reach Marina Romea, but a guard is not recommended because there is all flooded. We are not at all afraid, but we turned the wheels to the left in the direction of the equestrian center, past the Romea road and reach, along the main road, before Ca 'Fossatone and after the bridge input Tips Alberete. TIPS Alberete flooded forest, the area looks like a flooded forest. The landscape is dominated by the presence of large bodies of fresh water at varying depths in which we can observe different ecological situations and vegetation: the lamineto areas in greater depth, the reeds and the tifeto where the level is lowered and fenland in the portions higher and only periodically flooded. To the particular situation of vegetation is associated with the presence of a large number of birds from large heronry, home to numerous species of herons (egrets, herons, purple herons, etc.) in the presence of many species of nesting and step. Too bad they could not enter, entry is only permitted on foot and even if there is none, we decided to go outside the protected area. We enter a beautiful trail that runs along the west Romea, some ups and downs and some root enjoy the ride but the last part is to do sull'asfalto.Dopo about 1 hour 30 min. 16.7 km from the start we get to the bridge over the river Lamone, we slow down to take a left immediately after the bridge on the other side of the road. A short descent leads us in front of the watching tower, from which we can enjoy, as well as a great view, even of very good comments. You can not go over the wooden bar, even walking, to avoid any disturbance to wildlife breeding. In fact, access to Mandriole Valley or Valley of Canna, is only allowed with a valid permit issued by: INFORMATION CENTER CA 'OLD tel. 0544446866; DELTA PARK VALLEY 0533314003. MANDRIOLE known locally as the Valley of the rod is a freshwater swamp near Punte Alberete; presents itself as a vast expanse of reeds, interspersed with more or less clear aperti.Il territory looks like a mosaic of reed beds, mirrors and freshwater variable depth due to seasonal variations in the level idrico.Questo means that there will be established in the mirrors of water situations vegetational different between them. For Valle Mandriole there is no internal path but you can access the observation tower placed in the south of the valley which allows the space with the look of a good part of it. Along with Tips Alberete, is the oldest reclaimed area of ??the river Lamone. We pass the gate and then go along the bank of the Lamone, the tall grass and the bottom soaked in water make it hard pedaling, but the landscape repays the effort. Arrived at ... km. meet a junction, turn right into Drawing towards the valley on an embankment. Attention to the continuous crossing of otters that ambush the unwary biker, so in the unfortunate event of a puncture will be left to their fate !!!!! The step can not be quick to the continuous opportunities to enjoy the natural surroundings, after a few bends to the channel ...... .after about ... .KM. We go up the canal until you find the Lamone River, the heavy rains of the previous days have made the bank a true marsh, tires splashing water everywhere. Finally we reach the paved road ...... near Romualdo completely wet, luckily the sun heats the room and there asciuga.Rimangono now only ... km of paved road to return to the tennis club in via Zalamella in Ravenna, the starting point This spectacular route in the nature of the Valli di Ravenna, even more magical during the winter.
