Tourupdate Mai 2013 (Veränderter Tourverlauf und Startpunkt) Diese Tour verläuft überwiegend auf Schotter,Wald- und Wiesenwegen. Zu Beginn und am Ende kommt jeweils ein schöner Trail bergab vor. Bergauf stellt noch ein steile Rampe Ansprüche an die Fahrtechnik. Auch wenn nicht viele Trails bei dieser Tour vorkommen, lohnt es sie trotzdem zu fahren, da man an mehreren Steinbrüchen vorbei kommt welche teilweise echt riesig und faszinierend sind. (Für den Trailspaß hab ich ja genug andere Touren im Angebot!) Los gehts am Festplatz in Pappenheim und gleich bei der Landjugend den Berg hoch. Von oben der erste Trail bergab wieder zur Altmühl. Dann am Bahnhof vorbei durch den Tunnel und danach rechts in den Wald. Nach kurzer Zeit kommt man an eine Treppe. Diese hoch tragen und dann leider ganz kurz auf der Straße fahren, um beim Altwasser wieder in den Wald zu verschwinden. Jetzt gehts bergauf Richtung Altheimersberg und zu den beiden großen Windrädern. Danach folgt eine Waldabfahrt und wieder berghoch zum Steinbruch Frankenschotter. Hier lohnt es sich Pause zu machen und die großen Maschinen in der riesigen Steinbruchlandschaft zu beobachten. Vom Steinbruch gehts wieder runter in Richtung Dietfurt und weiter Richtung Osterdorf. Hier ist die oben erwähnte steile Rampe mit über 25% Steigung. Sie ist aber fahrbar. Hinter Osterdorf gibts dann wieder einen kleinen aber sehr tiefen Steinbruch. Nun weiter am Wasserturm vorbei in Richtung Geislohe und dann nach Neudorf, hier immer am Waldrand entlang. Von Neudorf weiter nach Göhren. Danach folgt eine rasante Schotterabfahrt bevor man in Pappenheim zum Weinberg kommt, wo der letzte schöne Trail bergab folgt. Anschließend entlang der Altmühl zurück zum Startpunkt der Tour. Tour Update May 2013 (Modified Tour course and starting point) This route runs mainly on gravel, forest and meadow paths. At the beginning and end of each a beautiful trail occurs downhill. Uphill is still a steep ramp demands on driving technique. From the top of the first downhill trail back to Altmühltherme. Then past the station through the tunnel and then turn right into the forest. After a short time you come to a staircase. This high wear and unfortunately very short ride on the road, & nbsp; to disappear into the woods at Backwater. Here we go uphill direction Altheimer mountain and to the two large wind turbines. Then a forest downhill and uphill again follows the quarry gravel francs. Here it is worthwhile to make pause and watch the big machines in the huge quarry landscape. From the quarry go back down towards Unterdietfurt and further direction Osterdorf. Here is the aforementioned steep ramp with more than 25% slope. But she is mobile. Behind Osterdorf then again there is a small but very deep quarry. Now, on the water tower along past towards Geislohe and then to Neudorf, here always on the edge. From Neudorf continues to Göhren. This is followed by a rapid downhill gravel before coming in Pappenheim of the vineyard, where the last beautiful trail downhill follows.
