Trail Description


In Schönau beginnt diese Tour mit ihrem längsten Uphill: Der 4,5 km lange Anstieg hinauf zum Michelsberg, dem mit 585,3 m höchsten Berg des Stadtgebiets. Von hier fährt man über Wiesenwege hinunter zur Wasserscheide von wo man in den Schönauer Wald rollt. Nun folgt ein stetiges Auf und Ab bis der Biker schließlich die Siedlung Vollmert erreicht. Jetzt duchquert man das Dreisbachstal und fährt über Langscheid am Hang ins schöne Ohbachtal, das man erst hinter einer verlassenen Fabrik wieder verläßt. Über Buir gelangt man nach Holzmülheim und zum Quellbereich der Erft. Bevor man Schönau wieder erreicht erklimmt man den Giesert von dem sich dem Radler ein herrlicher Blick über die Landschaft eröffnet. Schwere Tour mit vielen kraftraubenden Anstiegen.
