Die Tour startet in Naumburg und geht am Panoramweg gleich in die "Berge". Man fährt auf den Höhenzügen des Saaltetals. Nach einer rasanten Abfahrt kommt man an der Kurklinik vorbei und lässt Bad Kösen rechts liegen. Ein kurzes Stück Landstraße Richtung Kukulau und bevor der Berg beginnt verlassen wir die Straße und und quälen uns den Anstieg lieber im Wald hoch. Kurz vor Kukulau biegen wir rechts Richtung "Gespenstereiche" ab. Hier gehts einen wunderschönen Singletrail bis zum Campingplatz Bad Kösen runter und danach biegst du gleich wieder hart links ab und bezwingst die Auffahrt Richtung Freiroda. Nachdem man diese geschafft hat steht man schon fast vor der Rudelsburg + Saalecksburg in Saaleck. Einfach wunderschön. Nun überqueren wir die Saale und es geht weiter Richtung Stendorf bzw. Großheringen. Hier kommt der für mich härteste Anstieg. Haben wir diesen erreicht befinden wir uns auf historischem Gelände: Hier tobte 1806 die Schlacht bei Auerstedt. An der Sonnenburg vorbei und danach gehts gleich wieder eine nette Abfahrt hinunter. Unten angekommen gehts auch gleich wieder hochund wir machen uns auf den Weg zu den Finnen-Hängen. Oben angekommen wirst du mit einem phantastischen Blick belohnt. (Ein guter Zeitpunkt um zu rasten.) Bei Eckartsberga überqueren wir die B87 und klettern nach einer kleinen Ruhephase auf die gegenüberliegende Hänge. Durch einen Mischwald und Waldwege geht es Richtung Burgheßler. Von dort aus Richtung Pomnitz und Fränkenau. Hier folgen wir kurz dem unspektakulären Haselbachradweg. Kurz nach dem Ortseingang Pomnitz geht es rechts den Feldweg Richtung Fränkenau. Wir kreuzen die Straße und lassen Fänkenau rechts liegen. Hier gehts nun auf die letzte Etappe. Vorbei am Napolionstein und rechts der Blick ins Saaletal. Der Hammer! Noch ein letzten, wunderschönenund engen Singltrail Richtung Saale. An der Saale angekommen können wir die Beine noch etwa 2km auf dem Saalradwanderweg lockern und ausrollen. In Eckartsberga we cross the B87 and climb after a little rest on the opposite slopes. Through a mixed forest and forest paths it goes towards the castle Hessler. From there direction Pomnitz and Fränkenau. Here we briefly follow the unspectacular Haselbach bike path. Shortly after the entrance Pomnitz it goes right up the dirt road towards Fränkenau. We cross the street and let Fänkenau are right. Here you go on the last leg. Passing the Napolionstein and the right view of the Saale valley. The hammer! Another last, wunderschönenund narrow Singltrail direction Saale. We can approximately 2km to loosen the hall Radwanderweg and roll arrived at the Saale legs yet.
