“Königstour“ Albtrauf Start ist im Tiefenbachtal bei Nürtingen. Zunächst gemütliches einrollen auf dem Radweg neben der Hauptstraße Richtung Owen/Beuren. Am Ende des Tiefenbachtals überqueren wir die Straße, und von nun an geht es auf Feldwegen und später auf Trails bergauf. Oben angekommen, fahren wir fast immer direkt an der Albkannte entlang. Achtung, an manchen Stellen kommt man dem Abgrund sehr nahe. An bestimmten Felsen, gibt es immer wieder die Möglichkeit ins Tal zu schauen, und die traumhaften Aussichten zu genießen. Vorbei am Bruckerfels und Friedrichsfels, über den Wanderparkplatz Bassgeige, durchqueren wir Erkenbrechtsweiler. Nach dem Ort geht es sofort weiter mit traumhaften Singeltrails zur Burg Hohen Neuffen, und dann immer weiter der "Kannte" entlang. Wir überqueren kurz die Neuffener Steige, und sofort geht es wieder mit Trails weiter. Wenn wir oberhalb des Steinbruchs Hörnle angekommen sind, haben wir das Meiste überstanden. Es folgt eine schnelle Abfahrt nach Neuffen, danach geht es dann wieder Richtung Ausgangspunkt. Am besten bei trockener Witterung zu befahren, die Trails sind teilweise wurzelig, was bei Feuchtigkeit den Schwierigkeitsgrad erhöht. Nehmt Rücksicht auf Fußgänger, wir befinden uns fast immer unter der 2m Grenze!

The following is a quick descent to Neuffen, then it goes back towards the starting point. It is best to ride in dry weather, the trails are partly root-, which increases the difficulty in moisture. Take considerate of pedestrians, we almost always are under the 2m limit!
