Kleiner Erlebnisbericht... Start in St. Vigil und Anfahrt über 13 km Asphalt, zum Warmwerden bei 37 Grad. Von der schönen Pederühütte bginnt dann die tolle Quälerei links hoch über die extrem steilen und nicht endenwollenden Serpentinen. Hier werden nur die Härtesten bis oben hinauf im Sattel bleiben können, also schieben wir eben ein wenig, is ja keine Schande. Endlich die gröbsten Höhenmeter in atemberaubender Landschaft geschafft und ebenes Fahren im Hochtal bis zur Senneshütte (aber nur kurz) da reißt dem Jörg das Schaltauge vom Bike ab. Einen Militärfahrschultransporter (Geländewagen) organisiert, der wohl für Jörg unvergessen bleiben wird... Was sich bei uns zwei (wir waren zu viert) Amateuren auch ins Gedächtnis fräsen sollte ist die unabdigbare Existenz eines Ersatzschaltauges...ohne das Scheißteil ist der ganze Urlaub gefährdet...weil wohl für jedes Fahrrad das Mistding indivduell ist und nirgend beschafft werden kann, vor allem nicht in einem Urlaubsort, wie St. Vigil, wo alle mit den Bikern ihr Geld verdienen, aber die Infrastruktur diesbezüglich total marode ist :-) Sprich Leihbikes mit null Niveau, fast Schrott. Die Tour ist aber wirklich atemberaubend, man fährt in blankem Fels bis hoch zur Seekofelhütte und wieder runter, mit ein paar kleinen Schlenkern. Das beste kommt aber noch, wenn man denkt die Tour ist vorbei, dann folgt man dem Trail neben der Teerstraße von der Pederühütte wieder ins Tal. Dies ist ein Erlebnis der Extraklasse, einfach nochmal ein Highlight für sich. Ein TopTrail!

Little experience report ... start in St. Vigil and access over 13 km of asphalt, to warm up at 37 degrees. From the beautiful Pederühütte then the great cruelty bginnt left high above the extremely steep and never ending switchbacks. Only the toughest will be to the very top can stay in the saddle, so we push just a little, is no shame. Finally the coarsest level meter made in the stunning scenery and flat riding in the high valley to the Senne hut (but only briefly) as the tears Jörg from the hanger from the bike. A military driving school vans (SUVs) organized, which will probably never be forgotten Jörg ... What is with us two (there were four) amateurs should also milled to mind is the unabdigbare existence of a spare derailleur hanger ... without the crappy part is the whole holiday endangered because ... well, the crap thing is for each bike indivduell and can be purchased nowhere, especially not in a destination like San Vigilio, where all the bikers earn their money, but the infrastructure is totally dilapidated in this respect:-) Say rental bikes with zero level, almost scrap. The tour is really stunning, you drive in bare rock to high for Biella and down again, with a few minor digressions. The best is yet to come, when you think the tour is over, then follow the trail beside the paved road from the Pederühütte back to the valley. This is an experience of a lifetime, simply again a highlight in itself. A TopTrail!
