Diese Tour ist wegen seiner Steilheit und Wegebeschaffenheit keine Tour für Anfänger! Startpunkt ist der Bahnhof in Weiherhammer. Hier kann man sein Auto am P&R Parkplatz abstellen. So, los gehts! Wir fahren zunächst auf der Hauptstraße Richtung Ortsmitte über die Brücke und dann nach ca. 50 Meter links ab in die Röthenbachstraße. Nach ca. 200 Meter gegenüber dem Sägewerk links über den beschrankten Bahnübergang und vor der Hofeinfahrt gleich wieder rechts -Achtung schwer erkennbar- in den Singletrail einbiegen. Immer den Gleisen entlang. Nach dem wir den Wald verlassen haben 20 Meter weiter links über die Holzbrücke. Den Weg entlang immer geradeaus. Nach den Fischteichen rechts dem Forstweg folgen. Immer dem Forstweg entlang. Nach ca.3km macht der Weg eine 90° Drehung nach links. Hier der erste kurze aber steile Anstieg-ein "Wadlbeißer" mit 14% Steigung! Weiter dem leicht ansteigenden Forstweg folgen (3% Steigung). Nach ca. 1,6 km eine Kreuzung mit dem sog. "Waldarbeiterkreuz". Hier dem 90° nach rechts abbiegenden Forstweg folgen. Wenn nach ca. 20 Meter links ein Weiher sichtbar wird dann hat man den richtigen Weg genommen. Nach ca. 900 Meter trifft man aus dem Wald kommend auf eine Teerstraße. Rechts ab. Ca. 20 Meter auf Teer dann bei dem Holzstapel links den Waldweg einbiegen. Am Waldrand entlang leicht bergab (3% Gefälle) auf dem Forstweg. Immer geradeaus. Der Forstweg wird die letzten 100 Meter steiler (7% Gefälle Wurzeln). Unten angekommen links ab. Nach weniger als 100 Metern links bergauf und gleich nach 15 Metern rechts abbiegen -Achtung schwer erkennbar!- Dann leichte Links kurve nach 10 meter rechts und wieder nach 30 Meter links ab nächste Steigung 8% immer bergauf auf dem Waldweg bleiben. Nach 100 Meter Rechtskurve und nach 70 Meter Linkskurve Wiesenweg. Der Wiesenweg mündet in eine Flurbereinigungsstraße. Links weiterfahren auf Straße. Den "Viertelhof" lassen wir hinter uns. Nächste Steigung 9%. den Verlauf der Flurbereinigungsstraße folgen. Achtung Flurbereinigungsstraße kreuzt Hauptstraße -Auf Verkehr achten!!!- Hauptstraße überqueren. Flurbereinigungsstraße verläuft neben Kreisstraße. Bei der Flurbereinigungsstraßenkreuzung unbedingt stehen bleiben und die Aussicht genießen. Auf der linken Seite Kohlberg auf der rechten Seite der Ausblick von rechts nach links "Parkstein" "Rauher Kulm" "Ochsenkopf". Rechts bergab anfangs noch geteert dann Sandweg und Forstweg. Anfangs noch 4% Gefälle bis zum Schluß 10%. Der Sandweg hat in seinem Verlauf eine sehr gefährliche 90° Rechtskurve unbedingt runterbremsen!!! Auch gibt es Querrinnen und Möglichkeiten für kurze Sprünge! Unten angekommen geht es gleich wieder kurz aber steil bergauf 15%, im weiteren Verlauf etwas gemäßigter im Schnitt 7%. Nach ca.800 Meter scharf rechts bergauf abbiegen. Nach ca.50 Metern links ab immer noch bergauf. Oben angekommen stoßen wir auf einen besseren Waldweg. Rechts ab dem Verlauf des Weges folgen. Nach 1,1 km links abbiegen. Weiter auf Waldweg leicht bergauf 700 Meter lang. Dann -aufgepaßt schwer zu erkennen!- den Wanderweg rechts ab. Linkkurve dann bergab auf Wiesenweg bis Flurbereinigungsstraße. Auf der Straße rechts weiter. Jetzt fährt man über die Landkreisgrenze NEW-AS. Nach ca.300 Meter links ein Waldweg. Einbiegen. Zunächst ist die Straße nach Ehenfeld links unten zu sehen. Dann Straße überqueren und auf der anderen Seite dem Wanderweg (Main-Donau-Weg weiß grün weiß) leicht bergauf folgen. Die Forstsraße links abbiegen hinunter auf Straße rechts ab Richtung Schnaittenbach. Nach 500 Meter links in den Forstweg einbiegen. Nach 1 km links ab. Nach 200 Meter Bach überqueren. Noch 100 Meter dann ist Schluß mit lustig!!! Jetzt links den Weg hoch 14% Steigung. Dann 50 Meter weiter oben rechts ab immer noch 14%. Der Weg wird jetzt langsam aber sicher steiler und langsam aber sicher schwerer zu fahren. Bei der kleinen Lichtung sind wir dann bei 22%!!! Steigung. An dieser Stelle mußte ich runter vom Rad wegen der Steilheit und wegen des Untergrunds. Aber laßt Euch ruhig überraschen! Ich wäre an dieser Stelle für ein Feedback dankbar. Nach der Lichtung gibt es eine Verschnaufpause mit einer Länge von 300 Metern. Jetzt aufpassen!!! Haarnadelkurve rechts herum. Weiter geht es mit der Verschnaufpause ungefähr 200 Meter. Dann links ab kurzer steiler Anstieg 12%. Forststraße überqueren. Weiter mit 9% Steigung. Nach 150 Meter rechts abbiegen. immer den Verlauf des Weges folgen. Von hier aus sind es noch 1000 Meter bis zum Gipfelkreuz auf dem Kohlbühl. Nach 900 Metern scharf links hoch zum Gipfel. "Sie haben Ihr Ziel erreicht"! Nach einer kurzen Pause 100 Meter raus aus dem Wald zur Aussicht über den Oberpfälzer Wald. Zurück in den Wald rechts abbiegen. Hier beginnt die 1,6 km lange Abfahrt. Nach 1,2 km Vorsicht Straße!!! Rechts und gleich wieder links auf Wiesenweg hinunter zu den Teichen. Auf der Flurbereinigungsstraße rechts weiter Länge ca. 1,6 km.Zwei mal links ab auf Hauptsraße bergauf 7%.Unter der Brücke durch. Bergab. Nach der Leitplanke rechts bergab auf Feldweg an Bienenhaus vorbei. Hinter dem Bienenhaus weiter auf Feldweg mit Blick auf ein Wohnhaus aus Holz. dann rechts ab auf Feldweg leicht bergauf am Waldrand entlang. Dann links bergab und gleich wieder rechts. Diesen Weg lernten wir schon auf der Hinfahrt kennen aber es ist ein Nadelöhr. Man kann nicht anders durchkommen (Sumpfgebiet). Den Weiher rechts liegen lassen. Geradeaus auf Waldweg ca. 200 Meter. Links den Bach überqueren. Gleich wieder rechts auf Forstweg. Nach 700 Meter zwei mal rechts abbiegen. Bach überqueren. Weiter bergauf auf Forstweg. Nach 800 Meter auf dem Forstweg wieder ein alter Bekannter -das "Waldarbeiterkreuz"- . Geradeaus weiter bergauf das Kreuz rechts liegen lassen. die Zweite Kreuzung links ab auf Waldweg. Dieser mündet in einen Forstweg weiter geradeaus. Nach ca. 1,6 km mündet der Forstweg in einen Waldweg weiter geradeaus. Nach ca. 1 km mündet der Waldweg in die Straße Hannersgrün-Weiherhammer. Links ab auf der Straße nach 200 Meter rechts in den Radweg einbiegen. 400 Meter Radweg. Dann rechts in den Waldweg und gleich die nächste links. Auf diesem Weg kommen wir an einer Köhlerhütte vorbei und fünf Minuten später freuen wir uns auf eine Einkehr in der OWV-Hütte in Weiherhammer. Danach wieder raus auf den Forstweg rechts ab auf die Hauptstraße und über den beschrankten Bahnübergang wieder zu unserem Startpunkt den Bahnhof in Weiherhammer.

Then out into the forest again & nbsp; right onto the main road and over the level crossing back to our starting point the train station in Weiherhammer.
