Startpunkt der kleinen Tour war hier Heinersreuth (es bietet sich aber auch die Möglichkeit von Bayreuth zentral aus zu starten). Zunächst geht es über breite geschotterte Waldwege ab Tannenbach richtung Waldgasthaus "Waldhütte" (an Sonn und Feiertagen bietet es sich an hier einen Abstecher anzuhängen und die gute (Mittags-)Küche bei einer Rast zu genießen). Für Biker die nicht megafit sind empfiehlt es sich das Teilstück "Teufelsloch" zu umfahren. Dies ist problemlos möglich und mann erspart sich harte verblockte Trails und viele Tragepassagen. Der Rest der Tour ist ein ziemlich flowiger Mix von kurzen Trails und einigen Radwegen. Nach der Einkehr in Gasthaus "Tröbersdorf" kann man sich noch auf eine technisch vor allem bei nassen Wetter sehr anspruchsvolle Singletrail-Abfahrt im Wald freuen.
