Trail Description

Ride that starts from the level of the lake, Dervio (LC), & nbsp; leading and Alpe Giumello after long climb, challenging in the second half. Great views, fun downhill in the first part, less in the second characterized by long trail & nbsp; with & nbsp; tight curves that do not always allow continuity in the saddle (except for & nbsp; good technique to DH). - 50% share of dirt & nbsp; - Pedaling uphill slope up 19.0% - 38.0% downhill slope up - & nbsp; movement time about 4 h - departure from Dervio (LC), turn counterclockwise going from Bellano, - gradient ascent: first stretch of tarmac with pendeza average between 6 and 8% of easy pedalability; around 20 & deg; km starts the dirt road that starts with stretches up to 19%; subsequently the slope decreases assestatndosi between 10 d 12% with peaks at 14%; last stretch of smooth lawns; - Characteristics of descent: the first part consists of & nbsp; sideways after Alpe Giumello mostly 'moderate descent in himself' no shortage of short passages by hand to obstacles on the path; then you go down in the meadows before Camaggiore in a rather random in search of the best route; the slope in this case is quite significant and requires special attention; then follows stretch of dirt road quite easily take the mule track before the final, long and very tight corners that require dismounting; - Not pedalability: less than 1 minute in some steps after Alpe Giumello; - Near the Alpe Giumello and especially in the first part of the descent you can enjoy great views of the lake of Lecco and the foothills. & Nbsp; http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpe_Giumello
