Wir fahren für 8,- € / Person mit dem Shuttle von Prad zum Reschensee hoch. Dort biken wir auf dem Radweg nach Norden in Richtung Nauders. An der Bergkastl-Station verfrachten wir die Bikes in die Gondel und fahren für 10,50 € (je Person und inkl. Bike) nach oben und sparen uns damit gute 700 hm Uphill. Schnell noch ein Wiesbier an der Bergstation getrunken machen wir uns dann endlich auf den Weg und rollen den Forstweg hinunter. Nach einiger Zeit erreichen wir eine große Fläche die mit kleinen Büschen und Bäumen durchsetzt ist, dort geht es weiter bergab... Es kommt immer mehr Flow auf und der Trail in Richtung Panzersperren macht uns großen Spaß. Ein Stück weiter unten hat man dann völlig überraschend den überaus grandiosen Nord-Süd Blick auf den Reschensee aus ca. 2000 meter Höhe und währenddessen rollt man direkt auf den bekannten Aussichtsfelsen zu. Nach einer ausgiebigen Fotopause rollen wir die Forststrasse weiter nach unten... Nach kurzer Zeit geht es links in den Weg 1A hinein. Der ist wirklich der Trail-Hammer! Das Teil ist ein Traum und nur vom allerfeinsten. Technisch sehr anspruchsvoll, aber trotzdem gut fahrbar. Das Teil macht uns sehr großen Spaß! Der Traum-Trail endet mit der Einmündung in eine Forststrasse, die uns ein Stück weiter unten erneut auf einen wesentlich kürzen aber auch schönen Trail durch den Wald leitet, der direkt nach Alt-Reschen führt. Hier biken wir dann den Reschensee am rechten Ufer entlang nach Süden auf dem Meraner-Radweg mit dem Ziel Prad. Hier geht es mit mächtig Speed zur Sache. Die Strecke hat an einigen Stellen gut 20 % Gefälle ! In Prad machen wir dann nochmals eine letzte Rast in der Fischerstubn die direkt am Meraner Radweg liegt. P.S. Die angegebenen Höhenmeter sind natrülich ohne die Gondelauffahrt (ca. 700hm) zur Bergstation. We drive for 8, - & euro; / Person with the shuttle from Prad high to Reschensee. There we bike on the bike path north towards Nauders. At the Bergkastl station we ship the bikes in the car and drive for 10,50 & euro; (Per person incl. Bike) up and save us so good 700 hm Uphill. Quick drink or a beer meadow at the top station we get finally on the road and roll down the forest path. After some time we reached a large area interspersed with small shrubs and trees, there it goes downhill ... It comes down to getting more flow and the trail in the direction anti-tank obstacles makes us great fun. A little further down you then complete surprise the most magnificent views of the North-South Reschensee from about 2000 meters altitude and while you roll directly on the famous lookout for. After an extensive photo break we roll the forest road further down ... After a short while, turn left into the path 1A. The trail is really the hammer! The part is a dream and only the very finest. Technically very demanding, but still driveable. That part makes us very great fun! The Dream Trail ends at the junction with a forestry road that a bit further again leads us down a but considerably shorten and beautiful trail through the forest that leads to Old Reschen. Here we cycle then the Reschensee on the right bank along south on the Merano bike path with the aim Prad. Here it comes with powerful speed to the point. The track has in some places over 20% gradient! In Prad we do then once a final rest in the Fischerstubn which is right on the bike path Merano. P. S.
