Trail Description


Von Riva Trigoso (Ortsteil von Sestri Levante) zum Punta Baffe und zurück. Kleine aber durchaus anspruchsvolle MTB-Feierabendrunde. Von Riva Trigoso (Ortsteil von Sestri Levante) zum Punta Baffe und zurück. Die ersten Kilometer fährt man  bergauf auf Teer. Nachdem man die Via Aurelia verlassen hat, folgt man einem immer mehr ausgewaschenen Schotterweg. Der Schotterweg wandelt sich dann auf den letzten Höhenmetern zu einem angenehm zu fahrenden Singeltrail. Vom Rastplatz Punta Baffe aus führt ein Wanderweg mit herrlicher Aussicht auf Sestri Levante, Moneglia bzw. das Mittelmeer am Bergrücken entlang. Ist der eigentliche Turm erreicht geht es in den Downhill. Auf den ersten ca. 80 Höhenmetern benötigt man eine sehr gute Fahrtechnik.. Ansonsten schiebt bzw. trägt man sein Fahrrad nach Erfahrung des Verfassers  großteilig. Die restliche Strecke führt über einen teils ausgewaschenen aber immer fahrbaren Schotterweg. Für technisch weniger versierte Fahrer bietet sich die Rückfahrt auf der Hinfahrtstrecke an.

The first kilometers you drive & nbsp; uphill on tar. After leaving the Via Aurelia, one follows a more washed-out dirt road. The dirt road then turns to the last meters to a height comfortable to moving Singeltrail. From the resting place Punta Baffe from a hiking trail with magnificent views of Sestri Levante, Moneglia and the Mediterranean Sea runs along the ridge. If the actual tower reaches it goes in the Downhill. At first about 80 meters above sea level, you need a very good techniques .. Otherwise, pushes and carries his bike to the experience of the author & nbsp; the larger share. The rest of the route leads through a partly washed out but still drivable dirt road. For less technical riders, the trip offers on the outward route.
