Percorso tecnico da affrontare quando si è già minimamente allenati, ottimo per quando si ha poco tempo. Percorrenza circa 1 ora, 1 ora e 10.
Partenza da piazza Castello ad Avezzano.
Si percorre via Napoli fino ad oltrepassare il passaggio a livello.
Si imbocca la salita per il Salviano e si seguita fino al primo tornante a sx.
A metà tornante si entra a dx sullo sterrato e dopo circa mt.20 si gira a sx.
Seguiamo il sentiero fino in cima affrontando stretti tornanti da eseguire in equilibrio.
La parte alta è molto sconnessa e spesso ventosa.
Arrivati alla fine del sentiero giriamo a sx sulla stradina cementata e scendiamo fino alla sua fine dove troviamo l'asfalto.
Quì giriamo a sx agirando una sbarra e ci troviamo in una valletta dove in estate c'è sempre gente a rilassarsi e prendere il sole.
Superato lo slargo passiamo sotto alcuni alberi, dove troviamo le scale in cemento le agiriamo passando a sx.
Quì comincia una discesa da affrontare con molta cautela parallelamente al sentiero della via Crucis.
Arriviamo alla strada asfaltata e la attraversiamo seguitando a scendere sulla via Crucis. ATTENZIONE !!!
Alla fine c'é un breve tratto molto scosceso con gradini che se bagnato è anche scivoloso.
Siamo di nuovo sull'asfalto. Scendiamo fino a via Napoli e siamo al punto di partenza.

Departure from Piazza Castello to Avezzano.
Along Via Napoli until you pass the level crossing.
Take the climb for the Salviano and followed up to first bend to the left.
A half bend you enter right on the dirt road and after about mt.20 turn left.
We follow the trail to the summit facing hairpin bends to run in balance.
The High is very bumpy and often windy.
Arriving at the end of the path turn left and go down the narrow street cemented to its end where we find the asphalt.
Here we turn left agirando a bar and find ourselves in a valley where in summer there are always people to relax and sunbathe.
After the clearing pass under some trees, where we find the concrete stairs the agiriamo passing on the left.
Here begins a descent to deal with a lot of caution parallel to the path of the Cross.
arrive at the paved road and the cross continuing to descend on the Cross. WARNING !!!
At the end there is a short stretch of very steep with steps is also slippery when wet.
We're back on the asphalt. We go down to Via Napoli and we are at the starting point.
