Fahrtechnisch anspruchsvolle Singletrailtour rund um Heidelberg. Für den ein- oder anderen dürften ein paar kleinere Schiebepassagen dabei sein. Die Tour führt entlang ein paar Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aussichtsmöglichkeiten rund um Heidelberg herum. Los geht es bei der Tankstelle in der Rohrbacher Straße, hinauf auf den Ameisenbuckel, vorbei an am oben gelegenen Ehrenfriedhof. Am Max-Planck-Institut vorrüber, führt der Trail hinauf auf den Königstuhl und zur dortigen Landessternwarte. Am Königstuhl angekommen, bietet sich die erste Aussichtsmöglichkeit über die Metropolenregion Rhein-Neckar. Hinab geht es auf der Schlossseite des Königstuhls auf teils technischen Trails, vorbei hinter dem berühmten Heidelberger Schloss, hinab in die Altstadt. Zum Schluss des Downhills bietet sich noch einmal ein Blick über den Neckar, auf die alte Brücke, den Philosophenweg und Heidelberg selbst. Durch die Altstadt, über die Alte Brücke, geht es am Neckar entlang, hinauf zur Abtei Neuburg. Der Weg auf den Weißen Stein führt von dort ab teils auf anspruchsvollen Singletrails, teils auf entspannenden Forstwegen. Die Abfahrt zieht sich auf flowigen Trails hinab nach Schriesheim zur Strahlenburg. Zuvor wartet aber noch ein kurzer Anstieg, hinauf zum Ölberg. Über dem Steinbruch zeigt sich ein Blick Richtung Weinheim und in die Ebene. Hinter dem Zaun bleiben, vorsicht Absturzgefahr! Bei der Strahlenburg angekommen, lädt ein Blick über die Weinberge von Schriesheim und die ganze Rhein-Neckar-Ebene zu einer Pause ein. Zurück zum Ausgangspunkt geht es entlang der Weinberge nach Dossenheim, über die dortigen Felder mit Blick auf die Bergrücken des Odenwaldes. Einkehrmöglichkeiten gibt es entlang der ganzen Tour auf dem Königstuhl, in Heidelberg selbst, auf der Abtei Neuburg, dem Weißen Stein und Dossenheim.

Driving Technically challenging singletrack tour around Heidelberg. For the one or the other is likely some minor sliding passages to be there. The tour takes you around a few sights along and view opportunities around Heidelberg. It starts at the gas station in the Rohrbacherstraße, up the ants hump, past the upstairs Memorial Cemetery. On vorrüber Max-Planck-Institute, the trail leads up to the king chair and the local State Observatory. On King chair arrived, there is the first view option on the metropolitan region Rhine-Neckar. Down it goes to the lock side of the king chair on some technical trails, passing behind the famous Heidelberg Castle, down to the old town. At the end of the downhill again offers wonderful views of the Neckar, on the old bridge, the Philosophers and Heidelberg itself. Due to the old town, on the old bridge, it goes along the Neckar river, up to the Abbey Neuburg. The road to the White stone leads from there partly on challenging single trails and partly on relaxing forest roads. The downhill runs on flowing trails down to Schriesheim to Strahlenburg. Previously but is still waiting for a short climb, up to the Mount of Olives. About the quarry shows a view towards Weinheim and into the plane. Remain behind the fence, caution danger of falling! Arriving at the Strahlenburg, invites views over the vineyards of Schriesheim and the whole Rhein-Neckar-level for a break. Back to the starting point, it goes through the vineyards to Dossenheim, on the local fields with views of the mountain ridges of the Odenwald. Possible stops there along the whole tour on the king chair in Heidelberg itself, on the Abbey Neuburg, the White Stone and Dossenheim.
