Die Tour beginnt und endet an einem herrlichen Platz. Bangs, ein Ortsteil von Feldkirch, mit historischer Sebastiankapelle, einladendem Brunnen und dem Naturdenkmal Bergulme. Interessierte lesen die Tafel! Die Orientierung ab hier ist keine Hexerei, du findest problemlos den Ort Rüthi, jenseits des Alpenrheins und ab hier stellst du dich am besten auf das etwas monotone Klettern über die zahlreichen Kehren des Sträßchens mit Namen "Brunnenbergstraße" ein, fast immer dieselbe Steigung, fast immer Asphalt, fast immer dieselbe Breite, nahezu ohne Verkehr. Abwechslung dann erst mit zunehmender Höhe, herrliche Blicke auf Rheintal, Bodensee und die Berge ringsum. Über schöne freundliche Alpen, besonders die Alp Ober-Kamor lädt zum Rasten. Ab hier wirds steiler und nach kurzer Zeit endet die Radroute und du entlastest deine Velomuskeln indem du zum Gipfel HOHER KASTEN sprintest... (15 Minuten). Retour auf derselben Strecke bis zum Resspass, hier nach Westen über echten Single-Trail nach Ruhsitz (Gasthaus), von hier auf Asphalt hinunter nach Brülisau, Appenzell und einen kleinen Pass hinunter nach Oberriet ins schweizerische Rheintal. Zurück nach Bangs. 60 km, 1600 Höhenmeter, 4 Stunden 15 Minuten Fahrzeit. Aber jetzt: Setze dich in einen der schönsten Gastgärten des Landes im schönen "Sternen", den du schon beim Start wahrgenommen hast und genieße ein "Fohrenburger" und ich bin sicher, zur Tour kommt noch die eine oder andere Stunde hinzu...

The tour begins and ends at a beautiful place. Bangs, a district of Feldkirch, with historical Sebastian chapel, welcoming fountain and the natural monument elm. Read interested in the panel! The orientation from here is not magic, you can find easily the place Rüthi, beyond the Alpine Rhine and from here you stand the best on the somewhat monotonous climbing over the many hairpin bends the lane called "fountain mountain road" one, almost always the same slope, almost always asphalt, almost always the same width, with almost no traffic. Variety then round only with increasing altitude, gorgeous views of the Rhine Valley, Lake Constance and the mountains. About beautiful friendly Alps, especially the Alp upper Kamor ideal place for resting. From here it gets steeper and after a short time the bike trail ends and you entlastest your bike muscles by you sprinting to the summit HIGH BOX ... (15 minutes). Return on the same route down to the Resspass, here westward across genuine single trail after Ruhsitz (guest house), from here on asphalt to Brülisau, Appenzell and a small pass down to Upper Riet into the Swiss Rhine Valley. Back to Bangs. 60 km, an altitude of 1600 meters, 4 hours 15 minutes driving time. But now: Sit in one of the finest gardens in the country in the beautiful "stars" that you have already seen at the start and enjoy a "Fohrenburger" and I'm sure the tour just adds one or two hours ...
