Itinerario con partenza dal parcheggio lungo la strada che collega Fermignano a Canavaccio. Primo breve tratto su asfalto, si devia a destra su strada bianca che sale prima sul monte Polo ed infine raggiunge la vetta del Pietralata. Sui prati sommitali è possibile ampliare il giro per ammirare il panorama, dopodichè si prende un single track che costeggia il monte nel versante ovest fino a raggiungere l'imbocco della prima discesa. Qui bisogna prestare attenzione sia perchè il sentiero non è tracciato sia perchè soprattutto nella seconda parte le pendenze sono importanti. Ci sono alcuni punti in contropendenza su roccie. Consiglio la percorrenza di questo tratto a bikers che hanno dimestichezza con percorsi tecnici.
Terminata la discesa, che in circa 850 metri di lunghezza produce un dislivello negativo di 200 metri, si riprende a salire per 1,7 km sempre su strada bianca fino a raggiungere l'inizio della discesa finale che ci porterà fino a Fermignano. L'inizio della discesa è su sentiero quasi sempre dritto e con discreta pendenza. Prestare attenzione, già da queste prime battute, alla presenza di tratti scavati nella terra e presenza di ciotolame vario....che figata!
Terminato il primo strappo si riattraversa la strada e si riprende un altro sentiero, ancora più scavato e con dossi naturali che ci riporta ad un ulteriore attraversamento stradale (l'ultimo). L'ultima parte, denominata trial, è da fare tutta di un fiato con l'alternarsi di gradini naturali, contropendenze, canali e curve in appoggio. Per chi possiede la carta sentieristica il tracciato corrisponde al numero 136 anche se non c'è la minima presenza di segnali, pertanto seguire scrupolosamente la traccia GPS. Il tratto finale devia sulla destra andando ad intercettare la strada bianca che dopo poche curve ci riporta su asfalto e quindi all'auto.

Route departing from the parking lot along the road that connects to Fermoy Canavaccio. First short stretch of asphalt, turn right on the road that climbs the mountain before Polo and finally reach the summit of Pietralata. The last part, called the trial is to be done all in one breath with the alternation of natural steps, counterslopes, channels and curves on surfaces. For those who have paper trails the path corresponds to the number 136 even if there is the slightest presence of signals, so carefully follow the GPS track. The final stretch off to the right going to trap the dirt road that takes us back after a few turns on asphalt and then the car.
