Giro impegnativo sopra Ornavasso. Salita dura e discesa molto tecnica in alcuni tratti.
Si può partire dal Santuario della Madonna del Boden e scendere per circa 100m fino ad incontrare una strada sulla sinistra che sale subito con una buona pendenza. (Oppure partendo da Ornavasso si segue la strada verso il Boden e poco prima di arrivarci si prende la stessa strada ben segnata).
La salita è praticamente tutta su asfalto e veramente dura. E' classificata come una tra le 10 più difficili d'Italia!
Arrivati in cima, a Cortevecchio, si può fare la pausa pranzo per poi cominciare la discesa.
Si ritorna sulla strada fatta in salita per circa 200m e come all'inizio si prende una strada sulla sinistra che sale e che porta all'Alpe Rossombolmo.
In uno degli ultimi tornanti si prende un sentiero che porta alla Cappelletta del Buon Pastore da dove si può vedere parte di alcuni laghi della zona (se non ci sono nuvole!).
Pronti a scendere ci si sposta verso la montagnetta che si vede lì vicino e sulla destra si prende un sentiero che comincia a scendere con dei bei tornantini.
Da qui inizia il Km verticale che (ben segnato) vi riporterà alla macchina al Boden oppure a Ornavasso.
La discesa è molto tecnica in alcuni tratti quindi prestate attenzione!

Challenging round Ornavasso above. Hard climb and descent very technical in some sections.
You can start from the Sanctuary of Madonna del Boden and off for about 100m until you come to a road on the left that goes up immediately with a positive slope. (Or starting from Ornavasso follow the road towards the Boden and just before you get there you take the same route well marked).
The climb is pretty much all on asphalt and really hard. E 'ranked as one of the 10 most difficult of Italy!
At the top, a Cortevecchio, you can do the lunch break and then start the descent.
Back on the road made uphill for about 200m and how early you take a road on the left that goes up and that leads to Alpe Rossombolmo.
In one of the last switchbacks take a path that leads to the Chapel of the Good Shepherd from where you can see some lakes in the area (if there are no clouds).
Ready to get off you move toward the mound that you see on the right near there and take a path that starts off with some nice hairpins.
From here begins the Km vertical (well-marked) will take you back to the car or at Boden Ornavasso.
The descent is very technical in some places so be careful!
