Vom Ausgagnspunkt Richtung Grenzübergang Raunjak. Nach ca. 1 km rechts abbiegen und 2 km noch auf Asphalt, dann aber über eine schöne Schotterstralße aufwärts, vorbei an den Gehöften Skudnik, Potocnik auf den Sattel (1035 m) der in das Podpeca-Tal (Unterpetzen) führt. Am Sattel rechts halten. Zuerst geht es recht eben und dann immer steiler werdend Richtung höchsten Punkt. Nach Unterquerung der Materialseilbahn und weiteren ca. 2,2 km erreicht man auf Seehöhe von ca. 1400 Meter die Abzweigung zur Dom na Peci. Den Karrenweg folgend erreicht man die Hütte nach ca. 30 Minuten. Lohnendes Ziel nach dem langen Aufstieg und ausgezeichneter slowenischer Küche. Von der Hütte wieder zurück zum Forstweg. Diesen erreichend rechts weiter, Forstweg entlang des Berghanges, etwas bergauf Richtung NW. Bald beginnt ein steil bergab führender Weg (Sattelstütze runter!) bis zur Straße im Toplatal. Diese erreichend geht es vorerst asphaltiert weiter nach Nord (rechts), am Dorf Koncnik vorbei und ab dem Waldrand als Forstweg zum Preval-Sattel (1400 m). Dies ist auch gleichzeitig der Übergang in dasKoprivna-Tal. Weiter gehts vorerst durch bewaldetes Gebiet bis man bewirtschaftete Wiesen erreicht, vorbei an einem Bauernhof (vlg. Ledrovec), das letzte Stück wieder steiler bergab und erreicht die Straße im Koprivna-Tal. Dort hält man sich rechts (bergauf!), folgt der Forststraße immer gerade aus (parallel zur Staatsgrenze). In einer Kehre der Schotterstraße fogt man geradeaus ein Karrenweg, später einen Schranken passierend und erreicht dann die Hütte auf der Luschaalm (1250 m), nicht bewirtschaftet. Dort bietet sich die Gelegenheit zu einer Pause aber auch die Trinkflaschen aufzufüllen. Weiter geht es der Forststraße leicht bergauf folgende zum Luschasattel (1315 m). Am Sattel hält man sich rechts, der abwechselnd mitt Schotter und Asphalt befestigten Abfahrt nach Globasnitz, direkt zum Ausgangspunkt.
