Trail Description

Reached vitriol at 1400 (by car or by following the provincial halls Levico) begin a ride that is almost all downhill; In fact, we proceed to the Compet on paved road; behind the restaurant on the left wanting to find a forest that descends parallel to my track. Then you take an old Roman road (I assume) all ciotoloni carved on the mountainside; is a show down !!!
This ancient road (which at times is well signposted) leads you to Vignola from here take for Falesina; you can follow the road or follow the trail that goes down to a certain point in a private property with a path that cuts the wood (rather funny). Reached Falesina descend along a road all pebbles that makes you follow the stream Rigor; also this very nice but not as the road Romanesque ...
Joints in Molini you take the 249 tour now takes you uphill on the main road until after Frassilongo. Now you go down to the left and down again until Moser Fersina. Now it's all downhill along the creek up to Pergine; from here you take for Masetti (small hill) and then down to Visintainer and Lake Levico. At this point you can follow the trail gpx and make the way of the fishermen or gain the other shore of the lake on deestra; from here you hook onto a path that leads to Tenna (and I've done a few days before); very funny, and since then divide, if you decide to follow the left and stay on the shores of the lake, at times it becomes technical, there are steps, roots but also a lot mud !!!
It emerges from the campsite Levico .
If you climbed back on the path to Tenna you cross the road which then leads you to Caldonazzo and then Levico.
PS there is a nice path through the orchards that unites the two countries, and all is well signposted in falsopiano.
This ride is fairly demanding downhill but very funny; in my case, as we climbed into the car Vitriol were 1500 mt of fun although the descent from Frassilongo deserves an alternative way more fun that I have not found it!
