Casteltrosino fraz di Ascoli Piceno, è qui che ha inizio il giro. Si parcheggia nell'ampio spiazzale, si costeggia su asfalto il fiume Castellano si supera la diga che forma il lago di Talvacchia, per salire, sulla destra, superato il ponte sul fiume verso Rocca di Monte Calvo, una strada bianca in salita,molto panoramica (dai monti Gemelli, ai monti della Laga e difronte Sua maesta il Vettore con i Sibillini); si arriva a San Gregorio. in discesa su asfalto verso Cervara si incontra un prato con due porte da calcio qui la deviazione,sempre verso destra, il sentiero in singletrack per Talvacchia usciti dal paese sulla destra si nota una sterrata ed ancora in singletrack fino ad raggiungere la strada bianca in località Coperso. In fine sempre sulla destra in in una strada privata (ma accesibile) verso il fiume Castellano lo si costeggia fino alla diga sopra la diga c'e la strada che ci riconduce al punto di partenza. Volendo si può far visita alla necropoli Longobarda (indicazione lungo la strada).

In order always to the right on a private street (but accesible) towards the river Castellano flank the river to the dam above the dam there is a road that leads back to the starting point. If you want you can pay a visit to the necropolis Lombard (signposted along the way).
