Trail Description

Lake Garda - Valve Tino biking Small, but not quite unspannende round the reservoir of Valve Tino in the southwest of Lake Garda. The round begins with a moderate climb (about 10%) over Liano and Bocca Di Magno to Costa around the lands Monte Avertis (918m) and the Monte Magno (1.045m). Up here the route on tarred roads or cobblestones runs. In the & nbsp; village of Costa, there is a small, but highly recommended Restorante. Here everything is quiet and invites a little if necessary to stay. From Costa go over concrete climbs and gravel trails on Double-height line up directly above the Valvestino Reservoir. Attention, the descent to the lake down there, however, has in itself! The slope is covered with relatively narrow and soft gravel, which makes braking from a certain speed difficult. Also minor bumps and paragraphs by transverse joints in the form of typical water grooves. Lakeside arrived the tour runs along the north shore to the main bridge and following dam on the Embankment (tar-highway). Along the way there are plenty of great views of the water and the steep mountains in the background. But beware, the carriage road is traveled in good weather already with motorcycles and cars and the curves along the dam are in places quite narrow. The descent takes us through Navazzo to the point. Have fun! PS: This tour is based on the Moser-Tour Guide No. 11 (Volume West Lake).. PPS: There are many possible variations for this tour. One would ascend to the village Briano the variant on the Via Briano to the Monte Percasil (1.043m). From here there is a mountain trail toward the north, which opens in the direction of Costa past the Monte Deverno (1.459m) southwest of Monte Siclone (967m) from the top of the valley Rio Della Costa. From here, the route described above can be taken to the lake.
